Longford's Sneaky Tequilas to play at boutique Galway Uke Fest
Longford based ukulele band The Sneaky Tequilas have been invited to play at one of Ireland's biggest and best boutique music festivals The Galway Uke Fest.
The quirky band, formed in the back room of the old Tally-Ho bar back in 2017 have been playing, tweaking and perfecting their original takes on modern classics ever since.
Having jammed on the main stage in Longford with The Galway Ukers when the band hosted last year's Ukulele Céilí the Galwegians were impressed enough to book The Sneaky Tequilas to play at the main festival concert in An Taibhearc Theatre on Friday, June 16.
The band is made up of three Longfordians, Killian Reid, Sean Mulroy and Steve Shields and three Westmeath honorary members in Debbie Maher, Lainey Dee and Billy Keeley.
The band will be hosting the second Longford Ukulele Céilí this summer and they are looking forward to playing to a home crowd.
