The Killoe Emmet Óg quiz team showed that they have wise heads on young shoulders as they emerged victorious at the All-Ireland Scór na nÓg Finals in Killarney yesterday, Saturday, May 6.
Killoe were crowned 2023 All-Ireland Champions in the Tráth na gCeisteanna following a tense tie breaker and many congratulations to Ryan Keogh, Gerard Keogh, Conor Doherty and Tommy Tully on their success. Their mentor was Aron Fitzpatrick.
Killoe Emmet Óg will be hosting a homecoming celebration this afternoon (Sunday, May 7) at 4pm in the club house to welcome home their All-Ireland champions.
The Ballymore Figure Dancers (Rince Foirne) also represented Longford and Leinster at the All-Ireland Scór na nÓg Finals but unfortunately it wasn't to be for the girls Elaine Tully, Zara Drake, Roisin Grant, Erin Flynn, Chantel Higgins, Roisin Green, Sarah Jane Sheridan, Cadhlagh Browne and Saidbh Flynn, and their mentor Carla Reynolds Flynn.
