PICTURES | Longford folk turn out in force to support Laura's cancer battle fundraiser

Longford’s wider public once again turned out in unison last Friday for a special fundraising evening in aid of Laura Gilmore Anderson’s continued fight against cancer.

The aptly dubbed ‘Home Fundraiser’ was held at Murph’s Bar in Longford town where a whole host of prizes were raffled off. READ MORE BELOW PHOTO

As organisers continue to tot up the total monies raised, one of the event’s main organisers Annie Carr hailed both the events hosts Michael and Cathy Murphy as well as umpteen local businesses and members of the public who donated prizes.
