In solidarity with the Turkish & Syrian community, the people of Granard gathered to remember the earthquake victims with a beautiful service at Lus na Gréine Family Resource Centre.

Traditional Syrian music was performed by Mohammad who travelled from Carrick on Shannon, while school children from the Sacred Heart primary school led a candlelit ceremony and everyone enjoyed sampling beautiful Syrian cuisine afterwards.
