Congratulations to Emer, daughter of Gerry and the late Mary Hynes, Ferriskil and Diarmuid, son of Seamus and Carmel Kiernan, Drumeel who were united in holy marriage on Monday, February 2nd last in Rome. Emer's parish priest Fr Simon Cadam travelled to Rome and performed the wedding ceremony and we understand the newly wedded couple received a special blessing from His Holiness Pope Leo. We join with the Kiernan and Hynes families in wishing Emer and Diarmuid a long and happy life together.
