Longford Westmeath General Election 2024 latest: Sinn Féin’s Barry Campion eliminated following Count 12 as Boxer, Troy, Carrigy & Clarke step closer to success

Sinn Féin’s Barry Campion has been eliminated after Count 12 in Longford Westmeath General Election 2024 and his 2,987 votes will be distributed during Count 13.

Kevin Boxer Moran, Robert Troy, Micheál Carrigy & Sorca Clarke have moved a step closer to success and to joining Peter Burke in the 34th Dáil.

Thirteen candidates eliminated;

Kevin 'Boxer' Moran, Independent (+625) 10,164

Robert Troy, Fianna Fáil (+78) 9,438

Micheál Carrigy, Fine Gael (+618) 8,680

Sorca Clarke, Sinn Féin (+210) 8,525

Joe Flaherty, Fianna Fáil (+519) 6,212

Paul Hogan, Independent Ireland (+183) 4,216

Boxer is now 151 votes shy of the 10,315 quota.
