Paddy Christie’s first competitive game as the Longford senior football manager will be away to Laois in the opening round of the 2023 O’Byrne Cup on Wednesday, 4th January.
Longford's opening fixture in the pre-season Leinster senior football tournament will be followed by a home game against Carlow on Saturday, 7th January and the remaining group game will be away to Meath on Wednesday, 11th January.
The winner of Longford’s group will get a bye to the 2023 O’Byrne Cup final which will be played on Friday, 20th January.
