Longford away to Waterford, Antrim and Leitrim in the 2026 National Football League

County hurlers start season away to Leitrim

Longford open their 2026 National Football League campaign against Waterford in Dungarvan on Saturday January 24 and are also away to Antrim and Leitrim.

Mike Solan’s side will have four home games in Division 4 against London, Tipperary, Carlow and Wicklow while the County hurlers start the new season away to Leitrim on Saturday January 24.

Round 1 -  Fraher Field, Dungarvan: Waterford v Longford, 4pm 

Sunday 1 February

Round 2 - Glennon Brothers Pearse Park: Longford v London, 2pm

Round 3 - Erin's Own, Cargin: Antrim v Longford, 2pm 

Sunday 22 February 

Round 4 - Glennon Brothers Pearse Park: Longford v Tipperary, 2pm

Sunday 1 March

Round 6 - Pairc Sean, Carrick: Leitrim v Longford, 2pm
