Leinster Club action begins for the Longford ladies football champions this weekend and the stand out match is the meeting of the seven-in-a-row Slashers side against the reigning Leinster title holders Kilmacud Crokes on Sunday, throw-in 2pm.
Kilmacud will have home advantage in the preliminary round clash while also facing Dublin opposition are Dromard who take on Raheny in the Leinster Junior Club quarter-final in DCU on Saturday, 2pm.
The Killoe girls are also on the road as they head for Greystones for the Leinster Intermediate Club quarter-final against the Wicklow champions Eire Og on Saturday, 2pm.
