7 Minor titles in a row for Longford Slashers Hurling Club

Congratulations to the Longford Slashers Hurling Club who scored an emphatic win over Cluainin Iomaint Manorhamiton in the 2025 Minor Cup Final at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park on Wednesday evening. 

Longford Slashers . . . 6-12  Cluainin Iomaint Manorhamiton . . . 2-8

Despite missing a few regulars Slashers hurlers, who were unbeaten in this year’s championship, hit the ground running.
Oisín McHugh put on an individual masterclass scoring 5-8 (5-7 from play) while Billy Maguire, Ruairí Kelly and Paddy Garland were in command in defence.
Finn Neary (captain), Adam Dunworth and Morgan Fitzgerald worked tirelessly around the middle of the field ensuring that Slashers secured the 7 in-a-row.
