Longford GAA: Cashel crowned Division 2 football league champions

Can the men in 'red and black' complete a double success in the Patsy Reilly Cup?

Longford GAA Chairperson Derek Fahy presenting the Michael Moran Cup to Cashel captain Andrew Farrell following their success in winning the All County Football League Division 2 title. 

The Cashel manager is one of their own, Gary Kenny, and the men in 'red and black' are now in contention to complete a significant league double as they meet Ardagh Moydow in the Patsy Reilly Cup (Division 2 Top 4) semi-final at Pairc Ciaran on Saturday evening (7pm). 

Grattans and St Brigid's Killashee clash at Dunbeggan, also on Saturday (7pm), to determine the other finalists in this competition in the build up to the Intermediate Championship which begins on August 8.
