Longford GAA are in the process of searching for a new senior hurling manager following the unexpected decision of Adrian Moran to step down from the role.
While no titles were won during his three years reign, the Westmeath native guided Longford to the Lory Meagher Cup Finals in 2022 (losing to Louth) and 2024 (losing to Fermanagh) and was persuaded by the players to remain in charge for a fourth season.
However, that is no longer the case for some reason as Longford prepare for the 2025 campaign without the experienced coach Moran and the other members of his management team.
The county senior hurlers are facing a difficult programme of games in the new format Allianz National League Division 4 with Louth, Monaghan and Fermanagh the main contenders for the title.
