Longford’s prominent part in DCU’s All-Ireland Junior title triumph

Dromard clubmen Ollie Duffy (goalkeeper) and Fionn Hourican (who was injured for the final) along with Sean O’Sullivan (Sean Connolly’s), Eoghan McCormack (Carrickedmond) and the DCU team manager Eoin McGuinness (Longford Slashers) pictured celebrating the success in capturing the Higher Education All-Ireland Junior football title.

Dublin City University beat Queen’s University Belfast by a couple of points (2-8 to 2-6) in a tight final played in tough weather conditions in Dublin on Thursday evening. Well done to the Longford contingent for the prominent part they played in the victory.
