Longford Sports Partnership, in conjunction with the nationwide Operation Transformation, will be hosting three walks across Longford on Saturday, January 12, starting at 11am.
The walks will take place in Longford town, Edgeworthstown and Leebeen Park, Aughnacliffe.
The walk in Longford town will be led by Brendan Doyle and the meeting point is the Market Square.
In Edgeworthstown, the walk will depart from from the local Sports Hub and Laura Doyle is the contact there. And in Aughnacliffe, the focal point is Leebeen Park.

Registration at each of the three venues will be from 10.45am and everyone is welcome. The routes will be 5km and hopefully the weather will be dry.
The Operation Transformation Series on RTE 1 is now in its 12th year and it has been a fantastic success, widely regarded as the best health and fitness show in Ireland.
