Local properties move at Allsop auction

The Pat's Hairdressers building in Edgeworthstown sold for �26,000 at this week's Allsop property auction.
Three properties situated in Co Longford and surrounding areas, which were listed for sale in the Allsop Property Auction held on Tuesday, December 10, have been sold after bidding met or exceeded their reserve prices.

A freehold building situated on Pound Street in Edgeworthstown exceeded its reserve of €20,000, with a bid of €26,000 securing the property. The two-storey terraced building is arranged as a ground floor retail unit, with ancillary accomodation upstairs.

Another two-storey terraced building arranged as a ground floor retail unit and house on Elphin Street in Strokestown, Co Roscommon was successfully sold after the reserve price of €30,000.

Meanwhile, 9.13 acres of freehold land at Kilcogy in Co Cavan exceeded expectations when it was sold for €85,000. The land carried a reserve of €30,000 going into the auction.
