Despite the lack of rain for most of May the White clover sward has established successfully and has already been grazed twice by Enda’s cows.
The Red Clover was sown in perfect conditions in June and was cut for silage during the first week of August.
Enda and Kevin’s farm is currently part of the Teagasc/Lakeland Dairies Joint Development Programme; it is also a regional Teagasc Signpost programme farm. The video can be viewed here https://youtu.be/r2Arjhtm-Zs
