Longford students attend UCD agriculture and food careers day

A number of students from Longford were in attendance at the recent UCD Agriculture, Food Science & Human Nutrition Careers Day.

Alanna Burns (left), Granard, Co. Longford was pictured with Amy Kenny (centre) from Cloghan, Co. Offaly and Holly Lynch, Arva, Co. Cavan on the day.

The event was attended by Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Charlie McConalogue who made a speech to students about the sector.

Dr Niamh Lenehan, CEO of An Rialálaí Agrabhia and UCD alumna also addressed the event.
