Why have you decided to run in the Local Elections?
* I believe in change because if you change nothing, nothing changes.

* I feel I can contribute towards bettering our communities.

* Therefore, I feel it’s time to be active rather than passive and I am determined to link the rural and urban electorate to give Longford a stronger voice.

Why should people vote for you?
* I want to use my local experience to serve the people of Longford, to make the changes I believe are needed to make our towns and villages more self-sufficient and sustainable place to live.
* We all have a role to play in improving the quality of life in our towns and villages and with your participation on May 24, I hope to secure your support on our journey to transform our town and villages.

What do you think is lacking in your area and what will you be campaigning for?
* Reinvigorate Longford’s town and villages.

* CCTV in villages and increase the number of cameras in the town to eradicate anti-social behaviour.
* Third-level Educational Hub on the Old Barrack’s site to attract youth into the town.

* Open a dedicated ‘age-friendly’ window for OAP’s in the Longford Town Post Office.

* Implement a more purposeful maintenance and regeneration programme for housing.
