It was the end of an era on Wednesday last as Sophie Mulleady, who has been School Secretary to Ardagh School for 25 years, and to Glen School for 23 years, officially retired.
We thank Sophie for all the great work she has done and achieved over her years as School Secretary, and we wish her good health and happiness in the future.
Also, may I wish the staff and pupils of our three schools in the parish area a very well-deserved summer break.
