An expansive setlist is on throughout the busy weekend to suit everybody's tastes

Over the years the famous Marquee in Drumlish Festival has attracted the country’s top performers and from Friday, August 15 to Monday, August 18, Drumlish will be alive once again with top class music for all to enjoy.

The eagerly anticipated 2025 festival will feature a stellar line up of artists, including the iconic Declan Nerney on Monday.
On Friday, The Rurals and The Whislin’ Donkeys will have the honour of kicking off the thrilling four-day extravaganza with their catchy and upbeat tunes.

The Rurals, a two-piece band from the midlands, have been making a big name for themselves on the music scene.
The Whistlin’ Donkeys are a six-piece Irish folk / Celtic rock band that know how to make a venue come alive.

Saturday, August 16 will feature three of the country’s leading country music performers Michael English and the ‘Galway boy’ himself Mike Denver, as well as the renowned Ray Lynam. Denver previously graced the Marquee in 2023 alongside Ray Lynam.

Rhythm & Sticks will be performing on Sunday night, along with The Savage Hearts and DJ Mark McCabe.
Rhythm & Sticks, who previously played in the Marquee in Drumlish in 2016, are looking forward with great excitement to their return gig.

“We’re absolutely delighted to be playing the Marquee in Drumlish this year – it’s one of Ireland’s best festivals with an atmosphere like no other. We’ll be performing our brand new single ‘Where I Come From’ along with all the fan favourites. It’s going to be a special night and we can’t wait to be part of it!”

Mike Denver’s set on Saturday is certain to include his classic “Tommy K the DJ” and twenty-four hours later another accomplished chart topping DJ will rock the Marquee, the renowned Mark McCabe. A producer, remixer, radio DJ and club DJ, from Newry, McCabe’s ‘Maniac 2000’ went to number one and it is among the biggest selling records ever in Ireland.

The Savage Hearts, which formed in 2022, will also be bringing their beats to the stage on Sunday night. An original and innovative fusion, they are known for their Irish garage, psych and rock n’ roll.

No Marquee in Drumlish Festival would be complete without the signature Declan Nerney night on Monday, August 18.
Closing the festival, the Irish Country Music Hall of Fame inductee and local legend will be joined for a superb night by The Highstool Prophets, Ruaile Buaile, Una Healy (his niece and formerly of The Saturdays), country singer Jack Keogh (whose performance at the Longford Show in Killoe went down a treat) and the Declan Nerney Orchestra.

Promising top quality every night, the Marquee in Drumlish has plenty to offer all music lovers. The jam-packed weekend, Friday, August 15 to Monday, August 18 is not to be missed, and is one of the most fun events on Longford’s social calendar.

* Please note the Marquee in Drumlish Festival will not include the pre-selling of tickets. Admission on the gate each night on a first come first served basis.
