The death occurred on Saturday, February 5, 2022 of James Rooney, Ballyglasson, Carrickboy, Longford. Predeceased by his parents James and Mary, brothers Patrick, Mike and Vincent. James will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, sisters Kathleen (Ballyglasson), Rose O’Dea (London), Betty McNabb (Carrick-on-Shannon), Mary McCormack (Legan), Ann (Ballyglasson), brothers Tom (Cumbria), Peter (London), Bernie (Donnybrook), Martin (Tashinny) and Joe (Edgeworthstown), sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road on Wednesday evening, February 9 from 5pm concluding with prayers at 7pm (walk through only). Cremation will take place on Thursday at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 1pm. The family very much appreciates your support and consideration at this time.

He is predeceased by his parents Joe and Aggie and brother Johnny. Gerry will be sadly missed by his wife Mary, brothers Frank, Jimmy, Brian and Barry, sister Marion, brothers-in-law Pat, Peter and Pat, sisters-in-law Lena Keenan, Catherine, Martina and Connie, uncle Peter, aunt Ann (England), nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, neighbours and friends.
