The death occurred, peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital after a short illness, on Thursday, May 9 of Pascal Harrington, retired Garda Síochána of Drumhalry, Moyne, Co Longford. Deeply regretted by his wife Marie, daughter Edel, son Dean, son-in-law Steve, daughter-in-law Jennifer, sister Mary (Dublin), brother Padraig (Boyle) sister-in-law Margaret, brother-in-law Noel, adored grandchildren Megan, Joshua, Max and Kate, his dear neighbours, relatives and friends.
Funeral to Sacred Heart Church, Arva for Mass of Christian burial at 11am on Saturday, May 11 and burial immediately afterwards to Legga Cemetery. Family flowers only please with donations in lieu for Palliative Care Unit at Cavan General Hospital to Tom Brady Arva Funeral Undertaker.
Sarah (Sadie) Regan (née McEllin), No 3 Castle Glen, Newtownforbes, Longford / Dublin
The death occurred, peacefully, after a long life, in the wonderful care of the doctors, nurses and staff of Sunset Lodge, St Joseph's Hospital, Dublin Road, Longford, on Thursday, May 9 of Sarah (Sadie) Regan (née McEllin), No 3 Castle Glen, Newtownforbes, Longford and formerly of Regan's, Tara St., Dublin. Predeceased by her husband Martin, sons Stephen and Martin and daughter-in-law Angela. Sadie will be forever missed by her loving family, daughter Kathleen, sons Eddie, Joe and John, daughters-in-law Bernadette, Christine and Eileen, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brothers Mattie (Castlebar) and Dan (Liverpool), nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and her good friends. Always in our thoughts, forever in our hearts. May she rest in peace.
Funeral mass on Saturday, May 11 in St Mary's Church, Newtownforbes, Co Longford at 10am followed with burial in St Fintan's Cemetery, Sutton, Dublin (approximate time 2pm). Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Sosad Charity, c/o of Connell Funeral Directors or any family member.

The death occurred, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, May 8 of Michael Murray, late of Cabra, Dublin 7 and formerly of Abbeyshrule, Longford. Veteran with The Irish Defence Forces. Predeceased by his wife Patricia. Michael will be greatly missed by his son Herbert and daughter Eileen, his adored grandchildren Rachel and Ryan, sisters Mary and Nancy, brother Joe, son-in-law Daragh and daughter-in-law Sally, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. Removal on Saturday morning, May 11 to Christ the King Church, Cabra arriving for 10am Requiem Mass. Funeral thereafter to Glasnevin Crematorium.
