The death occurred on Saturday, April 27 of Matthew Ward, 29 Coulsan Avenue, Dublin 6 and late of Sonnagh, Aughnacliffe, Co Longford. Former teacher of St Tiernan's Secondary School, Dundrum, Dublin, peacefully.
Deeply regretted by his loving wife Hilda, brothers John and Michael, sister Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at his residence in Aughloughan, Ballyjamesduff, Co Cavan, A82YOE2, from 5pm to 8pm on Wednesday evening, May 1. Funeral Mass on Thursday, May 2 at 12 noon, in St Colmcille's Church, Aughnacliffe, Co Longford, with burial in adjoining cemetery.
Charles ‘Charlie’ McCormack, Lisacarn & formerly Lahard, Ballinamore, Leitrim
The death occurred on Monday, April 29 of Charles (Charlie) McCormack, Liscarn and formerly Lahard, Ballinamore, Leitrim, at University Hospital, Sligo.
Predeceased by his wife Janey and brothers Jimmy, Noel & Sean. He will be sadly missed by his son Charlie and daughter Bríd, brother Tommy, sisters Marie & Rosie, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace.
Removal on Tuesday evening, April 30 arriving to St. Patrick's Church, Ballinamore, at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, May 1 at 11am followed by burial in Oughteragh Cemetery, Ballinamore.
Matthew Cashin, Drumkielvey, Mohill, Leitrim
The death occurred, peacefully, at Sligo University Hospital after a long illness on Monday, April 29 of Matthew Cashin, Drumkielvey, Mohill, Leitrim.
Sadly missed by his wife Rita, sons Gary, David, Brendan and Kevin and their partners, grandchildren, sister Maura (USA), brothers Jim and Patrick (USA), Michael (Drumlish), brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours and friends. Rest In Peace.
Reposing at his home on Tuesday, April 30 from 3pm to 5pm. House strictly private at all other times please. Removal on Tuesday evening April 30 to St. Patrick's Church, Mohill arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, May 1 at 2pm with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Aras O Carolan Patient Comfort Fund.

The death occurred, suddenly, in Cavan General Hospital, on Friday, April 26 of Thomas (Tommy) Smith, Aughawelia ,Carrigan, Ballinagh, Cavan. Ex Heineken. Sadly missed by his heartbroken family. His wife Agnes, daughter Eilish (London), sons Brian (Virginia) and Thomas (Malahide).Brothers Peter, Liam, John and Pat. Sisters Mary Keane (Kerry), Marcella Shanaghy (Corlismore), Ann McCourt (Rooskey), Frances Redmond (Swords), Bridget Smith (Aughawelia) and Kathleen Creegan (Cavan). Uncle Phil O'Reilly, (Carrigan). His adored grandchildren Conor and Cathal. Son in law Denis and daughter in law Johanne. Brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, friends and neighbours. Removal on Tuesday morning, April 30 to St Mary’s Church, Bruskey for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in Mullaghboy Cemetery. House private at all other times, please.
Family flowers only, donations if desired to the Parkinson’s Society c/o Smith's Funeral Directors or any family member. A shuttle bus will operate from Bruskey Church car park to the wake house.
