Deaths in Longford - Wednesday, April 10, 2019

Christopher (Christy) Kiernan, 1 Camlin view Ballinalee and late of Aughkiernan, Aughnacliffe, Co Longford
The death occurred on Monday, April 8 of Christopher (Christy) Kiernan, 1 Camlin view Ballinalee and late of Aughkiernan, Aughnacliffe, Co Longford, peacefully at St Joseph's Hospital Longford. Predeceased by his sisters Anna and Millie,brothers Barney and Eamon. Deeply regretted by his brothers Brendan and Frances, Nieces and nephews relatives and friends.
Reposing at his home in Ballinalee on Wednesday evening April 10  from 7pm. Removal from his home in Ballinalee on Thursday evening April 11 arriving at St Joseph's Church, Purth at 7pm. Funeral mass on Friday, April 12 at 2pm. With burial in Granardkill Cemetery Granard. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to St Joseph's Hospital patient hospital Patient comfort fund c/o Farrell’s Funeral Directors or any family.

Elizabeth Dempsey (née Cunningham), Ealing, London and formerly, Ballymahon, Longford
The death occurred on Wednesday, March 27 of Elizabeth Dempsey (nee Cunningham), Ealing, London and formerly Ballymahon, Longford.
Deeply regretted by her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephew, relatives and friends.
Prayers in St Matthew's Church, Ballymahon, on Wednesday, April 10 at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday April 11 at 11am, followed by burial in Forgney Cemetery.

Patrick (Pat) Gilheaney, 11 Church Street & 2 Kilbride Park, Edgeworthstown, Longford / Ballinamore, Leitrim

The death occurred on Monday, April 8 of Patrick (Pat) Gilheaney, 11 Church Street & 2 Kilbride Park, Edgeworthstown, Longford and formerly of Cloverhill Ballinamore, Co Leitrim.
Sadly missed by his brothers Seamus and Hugh, sisters-in-law Marion and Kate, Dessie and Marion Rynn and family, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
Funeral Mass on Wednesday, April 10 at 12 noon in St Mary's Church, Edgeworthstown followed by interment in Oughteragh Cemetery, Ballinamore at 2.15pm.

Jim Rose, Creeve, Killoe, Longford
The death occurred, peacefully, at his home, on Thursday, April 4 of Jim Rose, Creeve, Killoe, Longford and formerly of London, England. Former employee of Gem Construction, Longford. Jim will be sadly missed by his family.
When I come to the end of my journey, And travel my last weary mile, Just forget if you can, that I ever frowned, And remember the smile. Sleep well Jim.
Cremation on Wednesday, April 10 in Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan at 1pm. 

Michael (Mick) McDonagh, Martin's Road, Gormanston, Meath / Mohill, Leitrim
The death occurred on Friday, April 5 of Michael (Mick) McDonagh, late of Mohill, Co Leitrim and Martin's Road, Gormanston Co Meath, suddenly at his home.
Michael (Mick) beloved dad of Aoife. Sadly missed by his loving daughter, extended family and friends. Rest In Peace.
Removal on Wednesday morning April 10 at 10.30am arriving to Church of The Assumption, Balscadden for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Moorechurch Cemetery, Julianstown.

Kitty (Katherine) McTague, Stralohan, Aughawillan & Ballinamore, Leitrim
The death occurred, peacefully, at Roscommon University Hospital, on Wednesday, April 3 of Kitty (Katherine) McTague, Stralohan, Aughawillan & Ballinamore, Leitrim.
She will be sadly missed by her sisters Winnie and Phil, her brother Michael, brother-in-law John Lynch, sisters-in-law Patricia McTague & Eilish McTague, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace.
Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning, April 10 in St Patrick's Church, Aughawillan, at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
