The death occurred, in her 91st year, and peacefully in the loving care of the staff at the Mystical Rose Nursing Home, Claregalway, and surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, February 16 of Eileen Comaskey (née Caffrey), Cloncovid, Kilcogy, Cavan / Claregalway, Galway. Predeceased by her husband John and son Willie, sisters Sheila and Peggy. Deeply regretted by her son Sean, daughters Geraldine (Claregalway), Bernadette (Claregalway), Mary (Donadea, Co. Kildare), Margaret (Navan, Co Meath) and Frances (Laragh, Co Cavan). Sadly missed her brother Seamus, daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, 17 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephew, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her home at Cloncovid, Kilcogy, Co. Cavan (eircode N39 HX33) on Sunday, February 17 from 12pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass on Monday morning, February 18 at 12 noon in the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Mullahoran. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. House private on Monday morning. May she rest in peace.
Martin Flanagan, Glen View, Castlepollard, Westmeath / Omagh, Tyrone
The death occurred, at the South West Acute Hospital Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh after a short illness, on Friday, February 15 of Martin Flanagan, Omagh, Co Tyrone and formerly Glenview, Castlepollard, Co Westmeath. Predeceased by his parents Hugh and Philomena. Deeply regretted by his sisters Eileen Devine (Mullingar), Margaret O' Donnell (Collinstown), Geraldine Murray (Mullingar) and Collette O'Connor (Dunboyne) his brother Terry (Belfast). Siobhán and Damien, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many many friends. May Martin Rest in Peace.
Funeral Mass on Monday, February 18 in St Michael's Church, Castlepollard at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Michael's Cemetery, Castlepollard.
Edward ‘Ted’ Quirke, West View Creevaghbeg, Ballymahon, Longford
The death occurred, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff at the Mullingar Regional Hospital, on Wednesday, February 13 of Edward ‘Ted’ Quirke, West View Creevaghbeg, Ballymahon, Longford. Predeceased by his wife Anne, sadly missed by his daughters Maria and Karen, sons-in-law Brian and Gregg, his 3 grandchildren Robert, Cian and Emma, his sisters Kathleen, Mary and Eileen, his brothers Michael and Sean, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and very kind neighbours and many friends.Rest in Peace.
Funeral Mass on Sunday, February 17 in St Matthew's Church, Ballymahon, at 11.30am followed by burial in Forgney Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
