Margaret ‘Maggie’ McDonnell, Gartlands, Castlepollard, Westmeath
The death occurred, peacefully, in the loving care of the staff of Droimnín Nursing Home, Stradbally, County Laois, on Sunday, February 3 of Margaret ‘Maggie’ McDonnell, late of Gartlands, Castlepollard County Westmeath. Deeply regretted by her loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grand nephews, relatives and friends. Rest In Peace.
Reposing at Maher's Chapel of Rest Portarlington on Wednesday, February 6 from 11:15am with removal at 12 noon arriving St John the Baptist Church Whitehall Castlepollard County Westmeath for Requiem Mass at 2pm. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

PJ McDonnell, Mornine, Moydow, Longford

The death occurred, unexpectedly, in the excellent care of the staff at the Regional Hospital, Mullingar, on Friday, February 1 of PJ McDonnell, Mornine, Moydow, Longford. Sadly missed by his loving parents Brigid and Larry, his loving brothers Paul, Barry and Mark and his sister Edel, sisters-in-law Lisa, Julie and Aodhnait and brother-in-law Jose, nephews Jack, Shane, Dara, Killian and Rian, aunts and uncles Lilly Boyce, Packie Kenny, John and Mairead, cousins Lorraine and Catherine, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest In Peace.
Removal on Monday, February 4 to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Carrickedmond, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the local cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to St Christopher's Services, Longford, care of Paschal Lyons, Funeral Director, Ardagh, or any family member. Family time on Monday morning please.

Tom Guckian, Kiltoghert, Carrick-on-Shannon, Leitrim


The death occurred, suddenly, at home, on Friday, February 1 of Tom Guckian (Retired staff of the E.S.B) Kiltoghert, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Leitrim.Predeceased by his parents Una and Laurence; Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Tina, daughters Lorraine and Lisa, grandson James, brothers Joe and Patsy, sister Mary B Mulvey (Butlersbridge, Co.Cavan), brothers-in-law Michael, Johnny, Charlie, Seamus, Martin, Sean and P.J, sisters-in-law Mary, Maggie, Phil, Margaret, Clare, Maura and Bernadette, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends. Rest In Peace.
Removal to St Patrick's Church, Gowel on Monday morning, February 4 to arrive for Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon with funeral afterwards to Kiltoghert Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations, if so desired, to Irish Motor Neuron Association (imnda.ie). House private outside of reposing times and private on Monday morning please.

Patrick (Pat) Carroll, Stonestown, Delvin, Westmeath
The death occurred, peacefully, at home in the loving care of his devoted family, on Saturday, February 2 of Patrick (Pat) Carroll, Beechgrove, Stonestown, Delvin, Westmeath. Beloved husband of Enda and loving father of Olwen, Bronagh and Clodagh.
Pat will be sadly missed by his wife, daughters, sons-in-law Liam, Rory and Scott, grandchildren Cillian, Donncha, Odhran and Rachel, brothers Andy and Kevin, his sister Elizabeth, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family and a large circle of friends. May Pat rest in peace.
Funeral Mass in the Church of the Assumption, Delvin, on Monday, February 4 at 12 noon with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House strictly private and family flowers only, please.
