The death occurred, peacefully, at home surrounded by her loving family, following a long illness bravely borne, on Friday, December 28 of Sarah McHugh, Castlecourt, Newtownforbes, Longford. Sarah will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her father Elliott, mother Pat, sister Rachel, aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends. ‘Safe in the arms of Jesus’.
Resting at Glennon’s Funeral home, Ballinalee Road, Longford, on Sunday, December 30 from 4pm concluding with prayers at 7pm. Removal on Monday, December 31 to arrive at St Paul’s Church of Ireland, Newtownforbes, for Funeral Service at 2pm, interment afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.
Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Longford Hospice & The Irish Cancer Society, c/o Glennon Funeral Directors or any family member. House private please.

The death occurred, suddenly, following an accident, on Wednesday, December 26 of Mattie Gray, Cleenrath, Aughnacliffe, Longford. Sadly missed by his daughters Caroline, Alicia, Samanta and Susan, son Patrick, wife Eileen, grandchildren Jamie, Casey, Richie and Jay, brothers Christy (Aughnacliffe), Seamus (Longford) and Jack (London), sister Bridgie Cahill (Ballinalee), son in law Richard, brother in law, sister in laws, extended family and a wide circle of friends.
Funeral mass on Saturday, December 29 at 11am in St Colmcille's Church, Aughnacliffe with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only.

The death occurred, peacefully, in Cavan General Hospital, on Thursday, December 27 of Mar (Marion) Duffy (née O'Brien), Marahill, Ballinagh, Cavan. Predeceased by her husband Paddy, beloved mother of Aine, Denise, John and Marion. Greatly missed by her daughter-in-law Jackie, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Reposing at her residence in Marahill from 4pm to 9pm on Saturday, December 29. Funeral Mass on Sunday morning, December 30 in St Michael's Church, Potahee at 11am. Burial afterwards in the St Felim's Cemetery, Ballinagh. House Private on Sunday morning please. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Removal to Church of St Columba, Iona Road, for Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday, December 29 at 10am, followed by burial in St Kieran’s Cemetery, Kilkenny. Sleep in heavenly peace.

The death occurred, peacefully, in the gentle care of the staff of St Joseph’s Ward at the Sacred Heart Home, Roscommon, on Friday, December 28 of Mary Somers (née McGovern), Corroy, Knockcroghery, Roscommon and formerly of Coalpits, Creggs, Co Galway. Beloved wife of the late John Joe and grandmother of the late Garry Donoghue. She will be very sadly missed by her daughters Marion Donoghue (Glasson), Anna McMahon (Naas) and Celia Tully (Corroy), sons Jackie (Corroy), Fr. Michael (U.S.A.) and Kieran (Dundalk), sister Teresa Duke (Dublin), sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by her loving husband Michael, deeply regretted by her sorrowing son Joe, her daughters Maire, Carmel, and Christina, sister May, daughter-in-law Noelene, sons-in-law Freddie and Fergus, sister-in-law Helen, brother-in-law George, grand children, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
