Gertie Gray (née Corrigan), Garvary, Moyne, Longford
The death occurred, peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital, on Saturday, December 15 of Gertie Gray (nee Corrigan), Garvary, Moyne, Longford.
Predeceased by her brothers John, Ben, Chris and Tom, sisters Margaret and Monie and granddaughter Maria. Sadly missed by her husband Patrick, son Padraig, daughter-in-law Karen, grandchildren Eleanor, Ruth and David, sisters Pauline, Theresa, Frances and brother Andy, nieces, nephews, relatives, many friends and neighbours. RIP.
Reposing at Connell's Funeral Chapel, Church Street, Longford on Monday, December 17 from 5 to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, December 18 in St Mary's Church, Legga at 11am followed by burial in Tubberpatrick Cemetery. House private. Please note: parking at Connell's Funeral Chapel is in Connolly Barracks.

Tommy (Cuchi) Nolan, 58 Main Street, Edgeworthstown, Longford
The death occurred, peacefully at Tullamore Hospital, on Friday, December 14 of Tommy (Cuchi) Nolan, 58 Main Street, Edgeworthstown, Longford. Deeply regretted by his wife Ann. sisters Anne and Helen, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and wide circle of friends. Rest in Peace.
Funeral mass on Monday, December 17 at 12 noon in St Mary's Church, Edgeworthstown with burial afterwards in Aughafin Cemetery, Edgeworthstown.

Joe Reynolds, Church View, Lanesboro, Longford / Four Roads, Roscommon
The death occurred, peacefully, in the Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, December 15 of Joe Reynolds, Church View, Lanesboro, Co Longford and formerly of Four Roads, Roscommon. Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Eileen, daughter Sarah, sons John, Joseph, James and Patrick, his sister Breege Nerney (Curraghroe), son-in-law , daughters-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and many friends. Rest In Peace.
Removal to St Mary’s Church, Lanesboro on Monday evening, December 17 arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, December 18 at 12 noon followed by burial afterwards in St Coman’s Cemetery, Roscommon. House private please.

Eileen Masterson, Forge, Brook, Ballinagh, Cavan
The death occurred, peacefully at The Virginia, Primary Care Unit, Dublin Road, Virginia, on Saturday, December 15 of Eileen Masterson, Forge, Brook, Ballinagh, Cavan. Predeceased by her husband Phil. Sadly missed by daughter Maureen, son-in-law Toni (Perth Western, Australia) Deeply regretted by her sister-in-law, Kathleen, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace.
Funeral Mass on Monday morning, December 17 at 11am in St Felim's Church, Ballinagh. Burial afterwards in Drumcor Cemetery.

John Bernard Lynch, Lacken Lower, Ballinagh, Cavan
The death occurred, peacefully, at Beaumont Hospital following a short illness, on Saturday, December 15 of John Brendan Lynch, Lacken Lower, Ballinagh, Cavan.
Predeceased by his wife Elizabeth, brothers Tommy, Phelim Jim and sister Mary Ann Reilly. Beloved father of John Francis, Tommy, Helen Sales, Rosemary and Philip. Sadly missed by his family, his adored grandchildren Miles, Georgina, Jessica, Ruth, Edith, Thora, Imogen and Sean, his brother Owen (Killeshandra ). Daughters in law Caroline, Lizzie and Sophie and son in law Matthew. Sisters in law: Annie Lynch (Killeshandra) and Mary Reilly. Brothers in law Sylvester, John, Michael and Vincent Carolan, nieces, nephews, relatives, great friends and neighbours. May He Rest In Peace .
Reposing at his home on Monday, December 17 from 3pm to 9pm. Removal on Tuesday, morning December 18 to St Michael’s Church, Potahee, for funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
Car parking at Potahee Church car park, where a shuttle bus will operate to and from the house.

Noel Flanagan, Ballyminion, Longford Town, Longford / Westmeath
The death occurred on Thursday, December 6 of Noel Flanagan, Erdington, Birmingham, England/ Ballyminion, Longford town, Longford/ Westmeath, suddenly.
Loving husband of Anne (Joyce) and devoted father to Michael, Paul, Aidan and Noreen. Noel will be sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughter, brother Hubert (Longford) and sister Carmel Gaffney (Delvin), his cherished grandchildren, daughters in law, brothers in law, sister in law, nephews, nieces, extended family and a large circle of friends in Ireland and England. May Noel's gentle soul rest in peace.
Funeral takes place on Wednesday, December 19 in Birmingham.

Teresa Mahon, Breanross South, Gortletteragh, Leitrim
The death occurred, peacefully, after a short illness in London, on Sunday, November 18 of Teresa Mahon, London, United Kingdom and formerly of Breanross South, Gortletteragh, Co Leitrim. Predeceased by her sister; Bridie (Callaghan).Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her brother; Bernard, sisters; Bernadette, Anne (Cunningham) and Mary ( Harrington), dear friend; Martin, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, friends and neighbours. May Teresa Rest in Peace.
Funeral Mass on Monday, December 17 at 11am in St Mary's Church, Gortletteragh followed by burial to Farnaught Cemetery.

Anthony (Dan) O'Neill, Thomastown, Ballydangan, Athlone, Roscommon


The death occurred, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the tender and loving care of the doctors, nurses and staff of UCH Galway, on Sunday, December 16 of Anthony ‘Dan’ O'Neill, Thomastown, Ballydangan, Athlone, Co Roscommon, (Ex Eircom).
Predeceased by his loving infant son Paul. Sadly missed by his loving daughter Clare, brothers Martin (Thomastown) and Oliver (Glasson), sisters Kathleen Kelly (Curraghboy), Mary Jennings (Leixlip) and Liz Murray (Thomastown), brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and his many good friends. Rest In Peace.
Reposing at St Brigid's Funeral Home, Brideswell on Tuesday evening December 18 from 4.30pm with removal at 7pm to St Brigid's Church, Drum. Mass of the Resurrection on Wednesday morning December 19 at 11am with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.
