The death occurred on Tuesday, December 11 of Walter Scott, Manor Nursing Home and late of Barneygole, Edgeworthstown, Longford, peacefully at the Nursing Home.
Deeply regretted by his nieces and nephews, sister-in-law Anna Scott (Killeshandra), brother-in-law Bill Farrell (Cloughan), cousins, relatives and friends.
Reposing in the Manor Nursing Home on Wednesday, December 12 from 5pm until 8pm with Prayers at 5pm. Removal on Thursday, December 13 to St John's Church, Edgeworthstown, arriving for Funeral Service at 1pm. Burial afterwards in Rathowen Cemetery. ‘Safe in the arms of Jesus’.

The recent death has occurred on Wednesday, December 5 of Mairéad Begley, Berkshire, England and formerly of Aughaboy, Killoe, County Longford. Suddenly at her residence in Berkshire.
Deeply regretted by her heartbroken parents Michael and Mary Begley, brother Tom, sisters Ann, Teresa, Cathy and Niamh. Brothers-in-law Paul and Paddy. Sisters-in-law Katherine and Juni.Nieces Megan, Giselle and Grace. Nephews Daniel and Finn.Aunts, uncles, cousins , relatives and many friends.
Remains reposing at the home of her parents in Aughaboy, Killoe, County Longford Wednesday evening, December 12 from 6pm. Funeral Mass to St Mary’s Church, Ennybegs, Killoe, on Thursday, December 13 at 12 noon with burial afterwards to Aughaboy Cemetery. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.

Mickey Kelly, Carroward, Kilrooskey, Roscommon
The death occurred, peacefully, in the tender and loving care of the staff at Innis Ree Lodge, Ballyleague on Wednesday, December 12 of Mickey Kelly, Carroward, Kilrooskey, Roscommon. Beloved husband of the late Marie (née Fallon) and much loved dad to Ollie, Sean, Denise (Staunton) and Mary (Patterson). He will be very sadly missed by his sons and daughters, brother Ned, daughters-in-law Majella and Regina, sons-in-law Sean and Martin, grandchildren, cousin Johnny Kinsella, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends. Rest in peace.
Reposing at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Ollie and Majella at Cloonadra, Ballyleague (eircode N39 KR92) on Friday, December 14 from 3.30pm until 7pm. Removal on Saturday morning, December 15 to St Mary’s Church, Ballagh arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 1pm. Burial afterwards in Kilgefin Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations to the Western Alzheimer’s Association.
Noel Flanagan, Ballyminion, Longford Town, Longford / Westmeath
The death occurred on Thursday, December 6 of Noel Flanagan, Erdington, Birmingham, England/ Ballyminion, Longford town, Longford/ Westmeath, suddenly.
Loving husband of Anne (Joyce) and devoted father to Michael, Paul, Aidan and Noreen. Noel will be sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughter, brother Hubert (Longford) and sister Carmel Gaffney (Delvin), his cherished grandchildren, daughters in law, brothers in law, sister in law, nephews, nieces, extended family and a large circle of friends in Ireland and England. May Noel's gentle soul rest in peace.
Funeral takes place on Wednesday, December 19 in Birmingham.
