The death occurred, peacefully, at Inis Ree Lodge Nursing Home, Ballyleague, on Wednesday, December 5 of Mattie Conor, Cashelbeg, Lanesboro, Co Longford.
Predeceased by his brothers Ned and Mike and sister Mary Bridget. Deeply regretted by his sister Margaret and his brother Johnny, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephew, extended family, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace.
Reposing at his residence in Cashelbeg on Thursday, December 6 from 2pm. Removal on Friday, December 7 to St Mary's Church, Lanesboro for Funeral Mass at 1pm. Burial afterwards in Cashel Cemetery.
Edward Harward (Eddie) Hewitt, 9 Paraic Colum Heights, Longford Town, Longford / Ballymahon, Longford
The death occurred, suddenly, at the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar, on Saturday, December 1 of Edward Harward (Eddie) Hewitt, 9 Paraic Colum Heights, Longford town and late of Brannigan, Ballymahon, and recently in the care of the staff of Cluain Lir Care Centre, Mullingar. Son of the late Harmen and Kathleen. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters. Sadly missed by his sister Louise (England), sisters-in-law Mary (Ballymahon), Julie (New South Wales), and Patricia (USA), nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and friends. Safe in the arms of Jesus.
Funeral service on Thursday, December 6 at 1pm in St Catherine's Church, Ballymahon followed by interment in adjoining graveyard.
Mary Murphy, Cootehall, Boyle, Roscommon / Manorhamilton, Leitrim
The death occurred, peacefully, at Drumderrig Nursing Home, Boyle, on Wednesday, December 5 of Mary Murphy, Cootehall, Boyle, Co Roscommon and formerly of Lisnabrack, Manorhamilton, Co Leitrim. Predeceased by her brother Seamus, sadly missed by her sister Kathleen (Lenehan), her nephews Damian, Colm and Raymond, their wives Niamh and Theresa, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Our Lady’s Hospital Chapel, Manorhamilton, on Thursday, December 6 from 4:30pm to 6pm with removal to the Church of the Annunciation, Mullies, to arrive at 6:30pm. Funeral Mass on Friday, December 7 at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. May She Rest In Peace.
