The death occurred on Wednesday, November 28 of Harry Ryan, Teffia Park, Longford town and formerly of Rathconnell , Mullingar, Co Westmeath.
Beloved husband of Patricia and dear father to Sandra, Fiona, Derek, Adrian and Carole. Predeceased by his parents Tommy and Margaret,brother Billy and his granddaughter Aoife. Harry will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, daughters, sons, sisters Betty, Bridie, Anne, Margaret and Stella, brothers Tom and Con, daughter in law Susan,sons in law John and Michael,sisters in law, brothers in law, beloved grandchildren Gemma, Aaron, Conor, Liam, Ben, Sarah, Kyla and Eleri, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends . May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home on Saturday, December 1 from 5pm, concluding with prayers at 8pm. Removal on Sunday, December 2 to arrive at St Mel’s Cathedral for Funeral mass at 1pm, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery. Family flowers only please. The death occurred on Thursday, November 29 of Páid McGee, Rathgar, Dublin and formerly of Aughnacliffe, County Longford. Emeritus Director, Special Education Department, St Patrick’s College/DCU, Drumcondra, peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff of Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross.
Beloved husband and dearest friend of Marie (Raftery) and much loved brother of Ita (O’Dowd), Eugene and Evangeline (Cummins). Predeceased by his brother, Fr Philip, and sisters Sr Kathleen (LSU) and Alice. Páid will be deeply missed by Marie, Ita, Eugene and Evangeline, by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and relations, by the wider Raftery family, his former colleagues, neighbours and his many close friends.
Páid will be reposing at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross, from 3pm to 7pm on Monday, (December 3). Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Tuesday, (December 4), in the Church of Our Lady Seat of Wisdom, St Patrick’s Campus, DCU, Drumcondra (formerly St Patrick’s College), followed by burial at Glasnevin Cemetery. “Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis”

The death occurred, peacefully at home, on Wednesday, November 28 of Paddy King, Cluain Bán, Tarmonbarry, Roscommon and formerly of Harbour Row, Longford. He will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, daughter Nicola, son Allen and their mother Mary, sisters Kathleen and Maggie (U.K.), brother Joseph, granddaughter Jessica, son-in-law Fergal, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, Frances and a wide circle of friends. Predeceased by her brothers Paddy (Navan), John (Carricknabrick) and Donal (New York), Deeply regretted by her brother Charlie, (Killadream), sisters-in-law Detta (Killadream), Valerie (Carricknabrick) and Chris (New York), nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at the home of her sister-in-law Valerie Brady, Carricknabrick, until removal on Friday, November 30 arriving at St Joseph's Church, Loughduff, at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday, December 1 at 11 am followed by burial in local cemetery.
