Deaths in Longford - Tuesday, November 27, 2018

Daniel John ‘Danny’ McGee, Drumlish, Longford
The death occurred, in New York, USA, on Thursday, November 22 of Daniel John ‘Danny’ McGee, Drumlish, Longford. Deeply regretted by his heartbroken family, parents Don, Colleen, brother Brian, sister Eva, Uncle Tim, Denise, cousins Daniel and Nicole USA, relatives and a large circle of friends. Rest in Peace.
Reposing at the family residence on Tuesday, November 27 from 5pm until 9pm  and on Wednesday, November 28 from 2pm to 5pm and 6pm to 8pm. Family time outside reposing times.
Removal on Thursday morning, November 29 to St Mary’s Church, Drumlish for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in local cemetery. Family flowers only with donations if desired to Pieta House.

Jennie McAvey, Briskill, Newtownforbes, Longford
The death occurred, peacefully, in Laurel Lodge Nursing Home, Longford, on Sunday, November 25 of Jennie McAvey, Briskill, Newtownforbes, Longford, formerly of Killiney, Dublin. Predeceased by her brothers James, George and sister Mary Lizzie. Sadly missed by her sister Gabriel, sister-in-law Kathleen McAvey, brother-in-law Joseph Rodgers, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace.
Reposing in the Laurel Lodge Nursing Home on Tuesday, November 27 from 6pm to 8pm. Removal to St Mary’s Church, Newtownforbes on Wednesday, November 28 for 12 noon Funeral Mass followed by burial in local cemetery.

Pat McHugh, Corglass, Moyne, Longford
The death occurred on Saturday, November 24 of Pat McHugh, Corglass, Moyne, Co Longford at Laurel Lodge Nursing Home, Longford.
Pat, beloved husband of Kathleen. Deeply regretted by his loving wife, son and daughter, relatives and friends.
Removal to St Mary’s Church, Legga on Tuesday, November 27 for 12 noon Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Legga Cemetery.

Maria Harte Bars (née Harte), Harbour House, Killenure, Glasson, Westmeath / Longford
The death occurred on Friday November 23 of Maria Harte Bars (née Harte), Harbour House, Killenure, Glasson, Co Westmeath; and late of Legan and Killenboy, Colehill, Cop Longford. Predeceased by her father Eugene and sister Brigid. Deeply regretted by her heartbroken husband Jean Pierre, sons Christopher, Ronan and Jonathan, mother Margaret, stepfather Brendan, brother Peter, uncles,aunts, mother-in-law, father-in-law, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and all her dear friends. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Removal on Tuesday morning, November 27 to The Church of The Immaculate Conception,Tubberclair for funeral mass at 12 noon with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family time on Tuesday morning please.

Anthony John Smith, 7 Marian Row, Ballinagh, Cavan / Cavan Town, Cavan
The death occurred, suddenly, on Sunday, November 25 of Anthony John Smith, 7 Marian Row, Ballinagh, Co Cavan and formerly Tullacmongan, Cavan Town.
Beloved son of James and the late Susan (nee Buckley). Sadly missed by his heartbroken father James, brothers Joseph and Christopher, great-grandmother Frances Smith, grandparents John and Joan, uncles, aunts, cousins, nephew, and all his extended Family. May he rest in Peace.

The death occurred, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, on Sunday, November 25 of Michael Gilmartin, Coolabawn, Mohill, Leitrim.
Sadly missed by his loving wife Pattie (Mary) and sister Kathleen, nieces, sons-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest In Peace.
Reposing at St Patrick's Hospital Mortuary, Carrick-on-Shannon on Wednesday, November 28 from 5pm to 6.30pm with removal to St Patrick's Church, Mohill to arrive at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday, November 29 at 11am with burial afterwards to St Mary's Graveyard, Lower Main Street, Mohill. Family flowers only please.

Anna Reynolds (née Bohan), Eslin Bridge PO, Mohill, Leitrim
The death occurred on Sunday, November 25 of Ann Reynolds (nee Bohan), Eslin Bridge P.O., Mohill, Co Leitrim. Predeceased by her beloved husband Denny. Peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Cherished mother of Denis (Don), Mary, Anne (McGowan) (Drumlish),Tom (Stranorlar) and Joseph (Joe). Sadly missed by her loving family, sister-in-law Nell Bohan, son-in-law Frank McGowan, daughters-in-law Cait and Terry, grandchildren, great grandson, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Reposing at her residence on Tuesday, November 27 from 12 noon until 4pm. Removal on Tuesday evening to arrive at St Patrick's Church, Mohill at 7pm. Mass of the Resurrection at 11am on Wednesday November 28. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please.

Anthony ‘Tony’ O'Reilly, Upper Main Street, Mohill, Leitrim
The death occurred on Saturday, November 24 of Anthony ‘Tony’ O'Reilly, Upper Main Street, Mohill, Leitrim. Husband of the late Teresa (nee Faughnan). In his 89th year, peacefully, in Sligo University Hospital.
Deeply missed by his loving son Gerard and daughter Martina his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Funeral Mass on Tuesday, November 27 at 11am in St Patrick's Church, Mohill, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
