Deaths in Longford - Friday, November 16, 2018 - evening

William ‘Billy’ Clabby, Lisnacusha, Lanesboro, Longford
The death occurred, peacefully, at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar, on Thursday, November 15 of William ‘Billy’ Clabby, Lisnacusha, Lanesboro, Co Longford.
Predeceased by his brothers, PJ, John and Tom and his sister Dympna. Deeply regretted by his sister Marcella (Mulligan) Coolamer, nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives and friends. Rest In Peace.
Reposing at his residence on Friday 16th November from 2pm. Removal on Saturday, November 17 to St Mary's Church, Lanesboro for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Rathcline Cemetery.

George Lovell, Rathmore, Ballymahon, Longford
The death occurred, peacefully in the care of the management and staff at the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar, on Thursday, November 15 of George Lovell, Rathmore, Ballymahon, Longford.
Sadly missed by his loving wife Noreen, children Karen, Robert, George, Kenneth and Margo, son-in-law Michael, grandchildren Christine, Kevin and Maireád, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace.
Reposing this Friday, November 16, at his residence from 4pm to 9pm. Funeral Mass at 12 noon on Saturday, November 17 in St Mary's Church, Tang, followed by interment in Shrule Cemetery.

James Mannion Junior, Clygeen, Legan, Longford
The death occurred on Wednesday, November 14 of James Mannion Junior, Clygeen, Legan, Longford. Predeceased by his mother Maureen. Deeply regretted by his father Jim, brothers John, Pat, Willie, Anthony and Val, sister Brigid, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Rest in peace.
Reposing at his home on Friday, November 16 from 7pm and on Saturday, November 17  from 1pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday, November 18 at 11am in St Mary's Church, Legan with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. House private on Sunday morning please.

Helen O'Rourke (née Carroll), Carrickport, Drumcong, Leitrim / Aughnasheelin, Leitrim


The death occurred on Monday, November 12 of Helen O'Rourke (nee Carroll), Carrickport, Drumcong, Leitrim and formerly of Drumkeen, Aughnsheelin, Co Leitrim.
Predeceased by her husband Sean and her brothers Charles & Joseph. She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken daughters Carmel (and her husband Alan Clarke) & Helena (and her partner Johnny Murphy), her beloved grandson Sean and her newborn grandson Corey, her brother Tom Pat (Drumcong), her sisters Mary Prior (Ballinamore) & Patricia Maloney (Leixlip), her sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace.
Reposing at the Chapel at St Patrick's Hospital, Carrick-on-Shannon this Sunday November 18 from 4pm until 6pm followed by removal to St Brigid's Church, Drumcong arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Monday, November 19 at 11am (in Drumcong) followed by burial in St Mary's Cemetery, Aughnasheelin. House private at all times please.

Patrick ‘Pat’ Gilchrist, Cullyvore, Edgeworthstown, Longford
The death occurred on Monday, November 12 of Patrick ‘Pat’ Gilchrist, London and formerly Cullyvore, Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford.
Predeceased by his wife Helen, brothers Owen, Willie, Martin and his sister Mary (New York). Deeply regretted by his brother Sean (London) and sisters Patricia and Josie (New York) brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Pat's funeral will take place in London next week. Rest in peace.
