The death occurred on Sunday, November 11 of Paddy Collum, Lettergunnell, Ballinalee, Longford. Predeceased by his father Jack. Paddy died peacefully in Mullingar General Hospital. Paddy will be forever missed by his loving son Paddy, mother Mary, sister Noreen O'Rourke, brothers John and Mickey, sister-in-law Roisin, brother-in-law Brendan, Paddy Junior's mother Mary,nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and his many friends.
His nature was loving and giving, His heart was made of gold, And to us who truly loved him, His memory will never grow old. Rest in peace Paddy.
Reposing at his home in Lettergunnell on Tuesday, November 13 from 11am onwards. Funeral mass on Wednesday, November 14 at 12 noon in St Mary's Church, Ennybegs followed with burial afterwards in St Emer's Cemetery, Ballinalee.
Robert ‘Sonny’ Jones, Bornacoola, Leitrim / Longford
The death occured on Monday, November 12 of Robert ‘Sonny’ Jones, (Livestock Haulier), Cloonagher, Bornacoola, Co Leitrim, in his 96th year, peacefully at the residence of his son David and surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his brothers; Bill and John and his sisters; Elizabeth and Anne. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife; Muriel, sons; Alex and David, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces; Sharon and Sandra, nephew; Andrew, his friend Sinead, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends. Safe in the Arms of Jesus.
Reposing at the residence of his son David at Cloonagher, Bornacoola on Tuesday, November 13 from 2pm with remains to arrive at St Paul's Church of Ireland Newtownforbes, Co Longford on Wednesday, November 14 for funeral service at 2pm. Burial afterwards to the adjoining churchyard.
Noel Hanlon, Capetown, South Africa & Longford Town, Longford
The death occurred, peacefully surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, November 3 of Noel Hanlon, Capetown, South Africa & Longford.
Predeceased by his parents, sister Maureen and brother Fr Joe. Noel will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family sons Patrick and Robert, daughters Jennifer, Elaine, Louise, Anne, Nuala, Maria and Emma, sister Anne, brothers Oliver and Fr Francis, daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.
There will be an opportunity to offer condolences to the family on Monday, November 12 at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road, Longford between 6pm and 9pm, concluding with prayers at 9pm. Mass of the Resurrection at 11am on Tuesday, November 13 in St Mel’s Cathedral, Longford followed by interment of ashes in Ballymacormack Cemetery.
Family flowers only please. As a mark of respect to the late Noel Hanlon, Hanlon’s 24hr Filling Station, Dublin Road, Longford will close at 12 midnight on Monday,November 13 and will re -open on Tuesday, November 14 at 5pm.
Valmor Tidbury, Lough Rynn Drive, Tawnaghmore, Mohill, Leitrim
The death occurred on Saturday, November 10 of Valmor Tidbury, Lough Rynn Drive, Tawnaghmore, Mohill, Leitrim, recently predeceased by his loving wife Bridget ‘Bridie’.
Valmor will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, daughters Fiona,Loretta and Carmen, sons Conrad, Brendan and Nigel, son in law Eamon, daughter in law Tracey, grandchildren Edward Jnr.,Carmen,Ethan, Courtney, Brooke, Rhys, Konrad and Amy, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road, Longford on Tuesday, November 13 from 6pm until 7.30pm. A celebration of Valmor’s life will take place on Wednesday, November 14 also in the Funeral Home at 11.30am, followed by interment in Mohill cemetery. Dermot Kenny, Delvin, Westmeath
The death occurred, tragically in New York, in his 44th year, on Wednesday, November 7 of Dermot Kenny, Yonkers, New York and formerly of Delvin, Co Westmeath. Loving husband of Michelle and devoted father of Lily-Rose and Ryan. Beloved son of Michael and Claire and cherished brother of Michael (Mimie), Gordon, Claire-Anne and Richard (Dickie). Dermot will be sadly missed by his loving wife, daughter and son, father and mother, brothers and sister, his father in law Jimmie and mother in law Mary, his brothers in law and sisters in law, aunts and uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family and his many friends in Ireland and New York.
Mass for the repose of Dermot's soul will take place this Monday evening November 12 in the Church of the Assumption, Delvin at 7.30pm. May he rest in peace.
