Noel Hanlon, Capetown, South Africa & Longford Town, Longford


The death occurred, peacefully surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, November 3 of Noel Hanlon, Capetown, South Africa & Longford.
Predeceased by his parents, sister Maureen and brother Fr Joe. Noel will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family sons Patrick and Robert, daughters Jennifer, Elaine, Louise, Anne, Nuala, Maria and Emma, sister Anne, brothers Oliver and Fr Francis, daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.
There will be an opportunity to offer condolences to the family on Monday, November 12 at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road, Longford between 6pm and 9pm, concluding with prayers at 9pm. Mass of the Resurrection at 11am on Tuesday, November 13 in St Mel’s Cathedral, Longford followed by interment of ashes in Ballymacormack Cemetery.

Dermot Kenny, Delvin, Westmeath


The death occurred, tragically in New York, in his 44th year, on Wednesday, November 7 of Dermot Kenny, Yonkers, New York and formerly of Delvin, Co Westmeath. Loving husband of Michelle and devoted father of Lily-Rose and Ryan. Beloved son of Michael and Claire and cherished brother of Michael (Mimie), Gordon, Claire-Anne and Richard (Dickie). Dermot will be sadly missed by his loving wife, daughter and son, father and mother, brothers and sister, his father in law Jimmie and mother in law Mary, his brothers in law and sisters in law, aunts and uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family and his many friends in Ireland and New York.
Mass for the repose of Dermot's soul will take place this Monday evening November 12 in the Church of the Assumption, Delvin at 7.30pm. May he rest in peace.

Hugh Francis McHugh, Greatmeadow, Boyle, Roscommon / Drumkeerin, Leitrim
The death occurred, peacefully, on Saturday, November 10 of Hugh Francis McHugh, Greatmeadow, Boyle, Co Roscommon and formerly of Moneenatieve, Drumkeerin, Co Leitrim. Ex Garda. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Ann, son Hugh, daughters Sandra and Ann Marie, daughter in law Louise, brothers Peter, Leo and Thomas, sisters Pauline and Carmel, grandchildren, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.
Reposing at The Abbey Haven Care Centre and Nursing Home, Boyle on Sunday, November 11 from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral Mass on Monday, November 12 in St Joseph's Church, Boyle at 12 noon with burial to follow in Drumkeerin Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to The Abbey Haven Patients' Comfort Fund, c/o funeral undertaker. House private, please.

The death occurred, peacefully in Mayo University Hospital., on Thursday, November 8 of Jeanette (better known as Jean) Feury, Brookvale Manor Nursing Home & formerly Clarecourt, Ballyhaunis, Mayo / Cloonfad, Roscommon. May she rest in peace.
Civil Funeral Service in Gavin's Funeral Home, Knox Street, Ballyhaunis on Monday morning, November 12 at 11am with the funeral proceeding to the local cemetery.
