PJ Killian, Clonberla, Killashee, Longford


The death occurred on Thursday, February 8 of PJ Killian, Clonberla, Killashee, Longford.
Predeceased by his parents, brothers William, Tommy and Eamon and sister Rose. PJ, sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, wife Rita, daughters Rosemary Johnston (Killashee), Gráinne Mulvihill (Newtowncashel), Carol Ryan (Connecticut, USA) and Clodagh McCann (Newtownforbes), son Thomas (Clonberla), sisters Betty, Úna and Margaret, brothers Jack and Gerry, sons-in-law Owen, Michael, Joe and Michael, daughter-in-law Deirdre, his adored grandchildren Seoighe, Michael, Clodagh, Darragh, Ruadhán, David, Orla, Tommy, Blaíthín, Seosamh, Avril and Lauren, brothers-in-law,sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.
Reposing at his residence on Saturday, February 10 from 2pm until 6pm and again on Sunday, February 11 from 2pm until 6pm. Removal on Monday, February 12 to arrive at St Patrick’s Church, Killashee for Mass of the Resurrection at 11.30am, interment afterwards in Ballinakill Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Palliative Care Unit at The Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar c/o Glennon Funeral Directors or any family member. House strictly private outside of reposing hours please.
Directions to house: Please drive to Killashee Village in centre of village there will be directional signs showing the way to the residence.

John Francis Smith, Glenmore, Aughnacliffe, Longford
The death occurred, peacefully in Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar, on Thursday, February 8 of John Francis Smith, Glenmore, Aughnacliffe, Longford.John Francis beloved husband of the late Celia. Sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, family and neighbours.
Removal arriving at St Colmcille's Church, Aughnacliffe at 5pm on Saturday, February 10. Funeral Mass in St Colmcille's Church at 1pm on Sunday, February 11 with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Kathleen Fitzmaurice (née Killian), St Matthew's Park, Ballymahon, Longford 
The death occurred on Thursday, February 8 of Kathleen Fitzmaurice (nee Killian), St Matthew's Park, Ballymahon, Longford, peacefully at her residence.
Sadly missed by her loving husband Pat, daughter Lou, sons Tommie and Scott, sisters, brothers, grandchildren, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, Denise, Clare, Liz and Ann of Palliative Care, relatives, neighbours and friends. May she Rest in Peace.
Funeral Mass at 11am on Saturday, February 10 in St Matthew's Church, Ballymahon, followed by interment in Forgney Cemetery. Family flowers only, please.

Bernard Feeney, Upper Elphin Street, Strokestown, Roscommon
The death occurred on Thursday, February 8 of Bernard Feeney, Upper Elphin Street, Strokestown, Roscommon, peacefully in the loving care of all the staff at St Eithne's Rest Centre, Tulsk.
He will be sadly missed by The Rattigan family, Killina, other cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends especially all in St. Eithne's. Rest In Peace.
Funeral Mass on Saturday, February 10, at 12 noon in the Parish Church, Strokestown. Burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Michael James ‘Mikie’ McKiernan, Drumcullion, Aughawillan, Ballinamore, Leitrim
The recent death has occurred on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 of Michael James ‘Mikie’ McKiernan, Drumcullion, Aughawillan, Ballinamore, Leitrim and Cloonamahon Care Centre, Collooney, Co Sligo, in the loving care of the staff at the Cloonamahon Care Centre.
He will be sadly missed by the staff and community at Cloonamahon, his sister Carmel (Kellegher), brothers Myles and Gerard, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace.
Funeral Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Aughawillan on Saturday, February 10 at 12 noon followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Gerard O'Reilly, Carrigan, Ballinagh, Cavan
The recent death has occurred on Wednesday, February 7 of Gerard O'Reilly, Carrigan, Ballinagh, Cavan tragically.
Predeceased by his brother Brendan. Deeply regretted by his brother Enda, Rathdowney, Co Laois, sisters Marian Murray, Castlepollard and Ita Keogan, Drumbrucklis, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and sadly missed by his neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace.
Funeral Mass on Saturday, February 10 at 11am in St Mary’s Church, Bruskey, followed by burial in Mullaghboy Cemetery.

Peter Sheils, Clontarf, Dublin / Gowna, Cavan
The death occurred on Thursday, February 8 of Peter Sheils, Clontarf, Dublin and formerly of Gowna, Co Cavan, peacefully in the tender care of the staff at St. Francis Hospice, Raheny.
Beloved husband of Maureen, father of Orla and Ciara and grandfather of Jade. Sadly missed by his loving family, brother Mal, goddaughter Siobhan, sister-in-law Sheila, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends. Rest in peace.
Reposing at Stafford's Funeral Home, Maypark, Malahide Road, Donnycarney, on Sunday February 11 from 4pm to 6pm. Funeral Mass on Monday morning February 12 at 10am in the Church of St John the Baptist, Clontarf Road followed by Committal Service at 12 noon in Glasnevin Crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to St. Francis Hospice, Raheny.

Anne ‘Doe’ Sheridan (née Tully), Urney, Ballinagh, Cavan
The death occurred on Thursday, February 8 of Anne ‘Doe’ Sheridan, (née Tully), Urney, Ballinagh, Co Cavan, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital.
Predeceased by her husband Thomas Sheridan. Sadly missed by her loving son TP daughters Ann (Killygarry), Bernadette (Gradam), and Mary (Naas), sons in law, daughter in law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Requiem Mass on Saturday, February 10 at 11am in St Felim’s Church, Ballinagh and interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. May She Rest In Peace.

The death occurred, peacefully at the North West Hospice, Sligo, on Thursday, February 1 of Alice Williams (née Laver), Dromard, Dromod, Leitrim. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving husband Norman, daughter Suzanne, stepdaughter Keri, stepsons Paul, Steve and Lee, grandchildren, sister Linda, extended family and friends. At rest.
Removal from St Patrick's Hospital Mortuary, Carrick-on-Shannon on Saturday, February 10 at 12 noon to Lakelands Crematorium Cavan for Cremation at 2pm. No flowers please, donations in lieu, if so desired, to The North West Hospice, Sligo.
