Maureen Hogan (née Marlowe), Cloncallow, Ballymahon, Longford
The death occurred, peacefully in the care of the management and staff at the Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore, on Saturday, January 27 of Maureen Hogan (nee Marlowe), Cloncallow, Ballymahon, Longford. Sadly missed by Tracy, Linda and James, sons-in-law, grandson Conor and immediate family. May she Rest in Peace.
Funeral Mass at 11am on Tuesday, January 30 in St Matthew's Church, Ballymahon, followed by interment in Kilcommock Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society. House strictly private.

Conor Farrell, Fair Street, Drogheda, Louth / Ardee, Louth / Edgeworthstown, Longford
The death occurred on Saturday, January 27 of Conor ‘Skinny’ Farrell, Fair Street, Drogheda and late of Mountrush, Ardee, Co Louth, following a road traffic accident.
Conor will be sadly missed by his fiancée Ailbhe, his parents Paul and Louise, his sister Ciara and his brother Paul, sister-in-law Carol and nephew Oscar. His grandparents Ollie and Irene Farrell, Oweny and Maura Duffy. Angela Dockery and the Dockery family of Edgeworthstown, his aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, neighbours and many close friends. May He Rest In Peace.

Paddy Durkin, Main Street, Granard, Longford


The death occurred, peacefully, after a short illness in The Blackrock Clinic, Dublin, on Saturday, January 27, of Paddy Durkin, Main Street, Granard, Longford. Predeceased by his wife Mary, son Hugh and sister Breege. Sadly missed by his children Sabina, Oliver, Patrick and Clare, brothers Andrew and Hugh sister Susanna, son-in-law Bill, daughter-in-law Annmarie, grandchildren Orson, Esme, Findlay, Sam, Ben, Jake, Arlo, Annabelle and Paddy, brothers-in-law George, Sean and Frank, sisters-in-law Pauline, Alice and Ann, his devoted carers at home and the doctors and nursing staff of The Blackrock Clinic, nieces, nephews, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Funeral Mass on Monday, January 29 at 2pm in St Mary's Church, Granard. Interment afterwards in Granardkill Cemetery.
May he Rest in Peace. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to The Alzheimers Society, Longford, care of the undertaker or any family member. As a mark of respect Durkin Medical will be closed until Thursday, February 1. Paddy was a true shepard.

Johnny Deehan, Ballymagrine, Rooskey, Roscommon
The death occurred, peacefully in the loving care of all the staff at Laurel Lodge Nursing Home, Longford, on Saturday, January 27, of Johnny Deehan, Ballymagrine, Rooskey, Roscommon. He will be sadly missed by his loving sisters Mary Cox (Ardnacassa Lawns, Longford) and Philomena Prunty (College Park, Longford), brother-in-law James, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Laurel Lodge Nursing Home on Monday, January 29 from 4.30pm followed by removal at 6.30pm to the Sacred Heart Church, Whitehall, to arrive at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, January 30 at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in Kilglass Cemetery, Co Roscommon.


Mary Grogan (née Gallagher), Main Street, Drumkeerin, Leitrim
The death occurred, unexpectedly, on Saturday, January 27, of Mary Grogan, nee Gallagher, Main Street, Drumkeerin and formerly of Creevelea, Drumkeerin, Co Leitrim. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sorrowing family; sons Seamus (Sligo) and Damian (Drumkeerin), daughters Barbara (Ramsgrange, Co Wexford) and Loretta (Ballymahon, Co Longford), sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, relatives and friends. May She Rest in Peace.
Reposing at the residence of her son Damian, Glassdrummond, Drumkeerin on Monday, January 29 from 10am until 5pm followed by removal to St Brigid's Church, Drumkeerin, arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, January 30 at 11am. Burial to follow in the adjoining cemetery.

Eileen Reilly, Moynagh, Finea, Cavan
The death occurred, peacefully at The General Hospital Cavan, on Saturday, January 27, of Eileen Reilly, Lisdarn Lodge, Cavan and formerly Moynagh, Finea, Co Cavan. Sadly missed by her sister Rose McEnerney, Moynagh, nephew Pauric, relatives and friends.
Funeral Mass on Monday, January 29 at 12 noon in St Mary's Church, Carrick. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. House private please.

Margaret Shanley (née Meehan), Dernasmallon, Ballinamore, Leitrim
The death occurred, peacefully, at Ballinamore Community Nursing Unit, on Sunday, January 28, of Margaret Shanley (née Meehan), Dernasmallon, Ballinamore, Leitrim. Rest in Peace.
Reposing at her home until removal to St Mary's Church, Aughnasheelin on Monday, January 29 arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, January 30 at 11am. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. House strictly private please.

Una Hitchcock (née Murray), Ballymun, Dublin / Castlepollard, Westmeath
The death occurred, peacefully in the loving care of her family and the wonderful staff of The Synge Unit (PACS), Fairview, on Friday, January 26, of Una Hitchcock (née Murray), Ballymun and late of Castlepollard, Co Westmeath. Una was predeceased by her husband Billy, baby daughter Christina and close niece Marie. She will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her sons Liam, Eugene & John, her daughter-in-law Ann, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, great-grand nephews, great-grand nieces, cousin Moll, extended family, wonderful neighbours and friends.
Funeral Mass on Monday morning, January 29 at 10am at the Church of The Holy Spirit, Sillogue Road, followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery.
