The death occurred, peacefully in the excellent care of the nurses and staff of St Joseph's Care Centre, Longford, on Friday, January 26 of Brigid Keogh (née Belton), Clygeen, Legan, Longford. Beloved wife of Charlie and devoted mother of Ann Marie (Johnston), Gerard and Joseph; sadly missed by her brothers and sisters Robert, Pat, Anne (Donohoe), John, Gerard, Catherine (Geoghegan), George and Oliver, her son-in-law Gareth, daughters-in-law Helena and Sarah and her darling grandchildren Georgina, Douglas, Ronan, Molly and Josh, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends. May she rest in peace.
Reposing at St Joseph's Chapel on Saturday, January 27 from 4pm until 8pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Sunday, january 28 at 11am in St Mary's Church, Legan followed by interment in Foxhall Cemetery. Family flowers only donations if desired to the Alzheimers Society.
Sr Columba Rattigan, Convent of Mercy, Loughrea, Galway / Edgeworthstown, Longford
The death occurred on Thursday, January 25 of Sr Columba Rattigan, Our Lady’s Manor, Edgeworthstown, Co Longford and Convent of Mercy, Loughrea, Co Galway, peacefully, in the loving care of Our Lady’s Manor Nursing Home. Sr Columba; deeply regretted by her Mercy Community, her brothers, Harry, Pat, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace.
Remains reposing in the Mercy Convent Chapel, Loughrea on Saturday, January 27 from 3pm with removal at 6pm to St Brendan’s Cathedral, Loughrea. Requiem Mass on Sunday, January 28 at 3pm followed by burial afterwards in the Convent Cemetery.
Eugene Fitzpatrick, Annaly Park, Longford Town, Longford
The death occurred on Wednesday, January 24 of Eugene Fitzpatrick, Annaly Park, Longford town.
He will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, wife Nuala, daughter Renee, sons Mel, Eugene and Gary, daughters-in-law Katie and Marisa, brothers John, Pat and Alfie, sister Ann, grandchildren Kitty, Ella, Celt, Ruby, Frances and Dubhaulth, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday, January 27 at 11am in St Mel's Cathedral, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery.

The death occurred, at Letterkenny University Hospital, on Wednesday, January 24, of Danny O'Brien, Clonbeg, Buncrana, Donegal / Longford Town, Longford. Predeceased by his daughter Miriam. Deeply regretted by his loving wife, Isabel and children Diarmuid, Michael, Margaret, Shane, Danielle, Jennifer, Susan and Emmet, sisters, sisters-in-law, sons-in-law, daughters in law, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and his wide circle of friends.
Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Cockhill on Saturday, January 27 at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death occurred, suddenly, on Wednesday, January 24, of Dympna Reilly Junior, Pembroke Road, Dublin; Killyfana, Redhills, Co Cavan and formerly Kilsarn, Loughduff, Co Cavan. Predeceased by her father Micheál. Darling daughter of Dympna, cherished sister of Sheila, Rosaleen and William. Deeply missed by her family, her boyfriend Barry, Dympna Senior's partner Barry, her nephew Cillian, goddaughter and niece Rhona, brothers-in-law Ross and Jim, William's partner Joyce, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at the home of her mother Dympna, Killyfana, Redhills on Saturday, January 27 from 12 noon to 8pm. Funeral Mass in St Joseph's Church, Loughduff on Sunday, January 28 at 1pm followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan. House private Sunday morning. Ar dheis De go raibh a h-anam croga.

Maureen McAteer (née Gavigan), 'St Michael's', Ballyleague, Lanesboro, Roscommon
The death occurred, peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Innis Ree Lodge, Ballyleague, on Thursday, January 25, of Maureen McAteer (née Gavigan), 'St Michael's', Ballyleague, Lanesboro, Roscommon. Beloved wife of the late Brian. She will be very sadly missed by her daughter Catherine, sons Denis and Donal, sister Sr. Kathleen, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Removal on Saturday morning, January 27 to the Church of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, Ballyleague arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Cloontuskert Cemetery.

The death occurred, peacefully in the loving care of her family and the wonderful staff of The Synge Unit (PACS), Fairview, on Friday, January 26, of Una Hitchcock (née Murray), Ballymun and late of Castlepollard, Co Westmeath. Una was predeceased by her husband Billy, baby daughter Christina and close niece Marie. She will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her sons Liam, Eugene & John, her daughter-in-law Ann, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, great-grand nephews, great-grand nieces, cousin Moll, extended family, wonderful neighbours and friends.
Reposing on Sunday afternoon, January 28 from 3pm to 5.30pm at Rom Massey & Sons Funeral Home, the Ballymun Civic Centre, Ballymun Road, D09 C8P5. Funeral Mass on Monday morning, January 29 at 10am at the Church of The Holy Spirit, Sillogue Road, followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery.
Betty Eager (née Hayes), 11 Forest Glade, Portumna, Galway / Manorhamilton, Leitrim
The death occurred, peacefully at Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe after a short illness, on Tuesday January 23 of Betty Eager (née Hayes), formerly of Manorhamilton, Co Leitrim and originally from Ballinakill, Loughrea. Predeceased by her husband Robin. Deeply regretted by her loving family, daughter Susan, son Colin, daughter-in-law Shy, son-in-law Ian, grandson Robin, sisters Mary and Phil, brothers Liam and Sean, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins and a large circle of friends.
