The death occurred on Tuesday, March 14 of Niall Glennon, Cloncoose, Longford.
Beloved son of the late Eamon. Niall will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his heartbroken family, his mother Breda, his wife Eleanor, his daughters Emily, Lucy and Holly, sister Helen (Herskind), brothers Martin and David, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephew, uncles, aunts, relatives and many friends. May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Glennon's Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road, Longford on Friday, March 17 from 6pm until 9pm followed by prayers at 9pm. Removal on Saturday, March 18 to arrive at St Mel's Cathedral for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to a charity of choice. Please note that both Niall's home in Cloncoose and the family home on the Ballinalee Road are strictly private.
Annie Reilly (née McGauran), Aughakilmore, Ballinalee, Co Longford
The death occurred on Tuesday, March 14 of Annie Reilly (nee McGauran), Aughakilmore, Ballinalee, Co. Longford, peacefully in the loving care of the staff and management of Our Lady's Manor, Nursing Home, Edgeworthstown.
Predeceased by her husband Tommy and son Joe. Deeply regretted by her sons Tommy and Mattie, daughters Mary Murtagh, Larkfield, Dring and Margaret Connell, Soran, Ballinalee. Daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, sister Margaret Reilly, Cloughernal, Granard and brother Phil McGauran, Cornadrung, sister-in-law Violet, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. Rest In Peace.
Reposing at the residence of her son Mattie on Thursday March 16 from 11am until 6pm with removal to St Joseph's Church, Purth arriving at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Friday, March 17 at 1pm with burial immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Family time from 6pm on Thursday evening March 16 please.
Roseanne Kelly (née Hagan), Corfree, Loch Gowna, Cavan
The death occurred, peacefully at her home, on Tuesday, March 14 of Roseanne Kelly (née Hagan), Corfree, Loch Gowna, Cavan. Beloved wife of the late Johnny and treasured mother of Eileen, Sarah, J.J, Moninna, Thomás, Lorcan, Lorraine and Gerard. Sadly missed by her brothers; Michael and Thomas, her sister; Cissy, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, her adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her nieces and nephews, brother-in-law; Sonny, sisters-in-law; Kitty and Mary, extended family and a large circle of friends and good neighbours.
Reposing at her home in Corfree on Wednesday, March 15 from 10am to 11pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday, March 16 at 12 noon, in the Church of the Holy Family, Loch Gowna, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only with donations, if desired, to Cavan Palliative Care. House private Thursday morning please.
John Dowd, Blackwater, Wexford / Lanesboro, Co Longford
The death occurred on Monday, March 13 of John Dowd, Blackwater, Co Wexford and formerly of Lanesboro, Co Longford, peacefully in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff at Knockeen Nursing Home, Barntown.
John will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Kathleen, sister Mary (Mulvihill), extended family, relatives and many friends.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 15 at 2pm in St Mary's Church, Lanesboro, Co Longford followed by interment afterwards in Lanesboro Cemetery. Family flowers only please. The death occurred, after a long battle with illness, on Friday, March 10 of James ‘Jimmy’ Hewitt, 6 William Hall Close , Barton Hill, Luton, England, and formerly Crubany, Cavan. Sadly missed by his wife Ann, daughter Michelle & son-in-law Kevin, son Simon & daughter-in-law Judi & granddaughter Jessica. PreDeceased by his brother Noel and sadly missed by his brothers John, Tommy, George & Sammy (Cavan), sisters Sadie Mc Conkey Drum, Co. Monaghan & Maud Patterson,Carrigallen, Co. Leitrim. sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces & nephews. Funeral will take place in Luton. Memorial service in Cavan at a later date.

The death occurred on Sunday, March 12 of of Teresa ‘Tess’ Jones (nee Coughlan) Bracklagh Lodge, The Pigeons, Athlone, Co Westmeath, peacefully in Mullingar General Hospital.
Predeceased by her husband Glyn. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her beloved son Owen, daughter-in-law Yvonne, grandchildren David and Rebecca, brother John, sister-in-law Maureen, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Rest in peace.
Funeral Mass at 11am on Wednesday morning March 15 in St Mary's Church, Tang followed by burial in Temple-a-Valley Cemetery.
