John Dowd, Blackwater, Wexford / Lanesboro, Co Longford

The death occurred on Monday, March 13 of John Dowd, Blackwater, Co Wexford and formerly of Lanesboro, Co Longford, peacefully in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff at Knockeen Nursing Home, Barntown.
John will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Kathleen, sister Mary (Mulvihill), extended family, relatives and many friends.
Reposing at Knockeen Nursing Home, Barntown on Tuesday, March 14 from 6-8pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 15 at 2pm in St Mary's Church, Lanesboro, Co Longford followed by interment afterwards in Lanesboro Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Hospice Homecare. (Donation Box will be at the Nursing Home and Church). May He Rest In Peace.

James ‘Jimmy’ Hewitt, Luton, England and Cavan
The death occurred, after a long battle with illness, on Friday, March 10 of James ‘Jimmy’ Hewitt, 6 William Hall Close , Barton Hill, Luton, England, and formerly Crubany, Cavan.  Sadly missed by his wife Ann, daughter Michelle & son-in-law Kevin, son Simon & daughter-in-law Judi & granddaughter Jessica. PreDeceased by his brother Noel and sadly missed by his brothers John, Tommy, George & Sammy (Cavan), sisters Sadie Mc Conkey Drum, Co. Monaghan & Maud Patterson,Carrigallen, Co. Leitrim. sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces & nephews. Funeral will take place in Luton. Memorial service in Cavan at a later date.

Teresa ‘Tess’ Jones (née Coughlan), Brackagh Lodge, The Pigeons, Athlone, Co Westmeath
The death occurred on Sunday, March 12 of of Teresa ‘Tess’ Jones (nee Coughlan) Bracklagh Lodge, The Pigeons, Athlone, Co Westmeath, peacefully in Mullingar General Hospital.
Predeceased by her husband Glyn. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her beloved son Owen, daughter-in-law Yvonne, grandchildren David and Rebecca, brother John, sister-in-law Maureen, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Rest in peace.
Reposing at her residence on Tuesday evening March 14 from 2pm until 9pm. House private on Wednesday morning March 15 please. Funeral Mass at 11am on Wednesday morning March 15 in St Mary's Church, Tang followed by burial in Temple-a-Valley Cemetery.

Roseanne Kelly (née Hagan), Corfree, Loch Gowna, Cavan
The death occurred, peacefully at her home, on Tuesday, March 14 of Roseanne Kelly (née Hagan), Corfree, Loch Gowna, Cavan. Beloved wife of the late Johnny and treasured mother of Eileen, Sarah, J.J, Moninna, Thomás, Lorcan, Lorraine and Gerard. Sadly missed by her brothers; Michael and Thomas, her sister; Cissy, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, her adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her nieces and nephews, brother-in-law; Sonny, sisters-in-law; Kitty and Mary, extended family and a large circle of friends and good neighbours.
Reposing at her home in Corfree from 6pm on Tuesday, March 14  and on Wednesday, March 15 from 10am to 11pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday, March 16 at 12 noon, in the Church of the Holy Family, Loch Gowna, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only with donations, if desired, to Cavan Palliative Care. House private Thursday morning please.

Ann Kelly, Clonturk, Longford
The death occurred on Saturday, March 11 of Ann Kelly, Clonturk, Longford. Predeceased by her father Robert, mother Helen, brothers Sean and Bobby and sister Pat. Ann will be sadly missed by her loving family, sisters Maura and Jo (Dennigan), sister in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace.
Reposed at Glennon's Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road on Monday, March 13. Removal on Tuesday, March 14 to arrive at St Anne's Church, Curry for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to the Dialysis Unit at Cavan General Hospital. House private please.
