The death occurred peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Monday, January 26, 2026 of Quiney Fay (nee Boyhan), St Jude’s, Minerocks, Ballinalee Road, Longford and formerly of Rochfortbridge.
Predeceased by her parents, sisters, brothers and by her grand-daughter Alison. Quiney will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, beloved husband Pat, daughters Caroline O’Rourke, Antoinette O’Brien, Imelda Hynes, Noeleen McCarthy, Denise Bell and Áine Dooley, sons Vincent, Kevin and Paddy, her brother Tom, daughters-in-law Lorraine, Deirdre and Aislinn, sons-in-law Frank, Aidan, Stephen, Ken, Stephen and George, grandchildren Thomas, Emily, Louise, Elliot, Orlagh, Eimear, Aoife, Dylan, Isabelle, Daniel, Hannah, Lucy, Sophie, Ethan, Adam, Amy, Ryan, Jake, Chloe, Sarah, Katie, Sebastian and Senan, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at her home (N39 Y8N4) on Thursday, January 29 from 5pm until 8.30pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Friday, January 30 in St Mel’s Cathedral at 11am, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery.

There is parking available at Glennon’s Funeral Home (N39 EC81), which is in close proximity to the family home. The death occurred peacefully and suddenly in the care of the Sisters in The Churchtown Community, staff and carers, on Sunday, January 25, 2026 of Sr Marie Therese (Patricia) Callaghan R.N.D.M., late of Notre Dame Convent, Upper Churchtown Road, Dublin 14, D14 N8E8, formerly of Garrymore, Mountmellick, Co Offaly and Abbeyshrule Co Longford.
Predeceased by her twin sister Josephine, brothers Lawrence and Patrick. Deeply regretted by the Sisters of our Lady of the Missions (RNDM), her brother John, nephews, nieces and circle of friends. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis.

Predeceased by her loving husband Eugene, sister Dolores, and her beloved parents Rosetta and James Patrick O’Neill. She will be sadly missed by her partner and carer Brian Harris, her nieces Rose Mary, Dolores and Bernadette, nephew James, brother-in-law Thomas Moriarty, sister-in-law Peggy McGovern, extended family, and many wonderful friends. The death occurred suddenly at Cavan General Hospital on Saturday, January 24, 2026 of Van Werner Cloete, Loch Gowna, Co Cavan and formerly of Johannesburg, South Africa and Wellington, New Zealand.
Rest in peace to a truly remarkable man, larger than life- "Our gentle giant" who passed away and is now reunited with his gorgeous mother, Anna Maria, who predeceased him. A devoted and loving husband to Claire, and a proud father to his beautiful daughters; Jayden and Camryn, and his sons; Beau and Quade.
He will be sorely missed by his heartbroken wife and children, his father Alec, his mother-in-law Bridie, his brothers Altus and Alec Junior (Bernadine), his sister Monya, brother-in-law Darragh and his cousin Neil (Sureca) and by his huge network of extended family and friends in Ireland, New Zealand and South Africa.
