The death occurred peacefully at home, in her 92nd year, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, November 13, 2025 of Teresa Finnegan, Ballinruddy, Ardagh, Co Longford. 

Predeceased by her husband Tommy. Deeply regretted by her loving daughters Catherine Monaghan, Mary Donlon (Ballyleague) and Betty Farrell, grandchildren Steven, Cian, Louise and her husband Brian, sons-in-law Christopher, Niall and Tommy, neighbours, relatives and friends. Rest in peace.

Reposing in St Brigid's Church, Ardagh on Saturday, November 15 from 6pm with prayers at 8.30pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday, November 16 at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.  Funeral Mass can be viewed online HERE.

Katherine Dunican, Upper Glack, Longford / Dublin

The death occurred peacefully in Drumderrig Nursing Home, Boyle, Co Roscommon surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 of Katherine Dunican, Upper Glack, Longford and formerly of Ballinrobe, Co Mayo, Walkinstown and Clondalkin, Dublin. 

Reunited with her mother Elizabeth Dunican. Katherine will be sadly missed by her family, her beloved life partner and fiancé Michael McCarthy, her adored children Michael, Dervla and Liana, father Christy, brothers Paul and Chris, sister Juanita, sister-in-law Saskia, nieces, nephews, extended family and great friends. "Her feet now rest, her dance complete, Yet in our hearts she keeps the beat. With every reel and gentle sway, Her spirit will twirl with us each day." Katherine will be forever in our hearts.

Reposing in Connell's Funeral Home Church Street, Longford, N39 KN66 on Monday, November 17 from 6pm until 7.30pm. Cremation Service will take place on Tuesday, November 18 at 1.30pm in Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Rd, Cavan, H12 RF78.

The death occurred following an illness bravely borne, surrounded by her heartbroken family on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 of Mary Farrell (nee Reilly), Farrell's Bar Ballinalee, Co Longford. 

Sadly missed by her beloved husband Martin, sons Kieran (Sinead), Cahal (Martina), daughters Clare Murtagh (Joe), Louise (Wayne Walsh), Pauline Brady (Clifford) and her 12 cherished grandchildren Martin, Evan, Érin, Emily, Finn, Aéla, Abbie, Ava, Ruairi, Rian, Alex and Lucy, her sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and her large circle of friends. The death occurred peacefully at home, in the company of his family on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 of Tommy Maguire, Clonelly, Moyne, Longford. 

He is predeceased by his parents James and Ellen, his sister Julia and his recently bereaved nephew James Maguire (New Jersey, USA). The death occurred peacefully in the company of her loving family and in the wonderful care of the staff at Mullingar Regional Hospital on Thursday, November 13, 2025 of Elizabeth (Lily) O'Connor (nee Fagan), Ballydorey, Rathowen, Westmeath / Longford.

Predeceased by her husband Declan and her two little angels Mary Annie and Patricia. Lily will be sadly missed by her loving family son David, grandson Ryan, granddaughter Kady, daughter-in-law Linda, sister Nancy, Connie and her brother Liam, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. The death occurred suddenly but peacefully at his home on Thursday, November 13, 2025 of Danny Brady, Bruskey, Ballinagh, Cavan. 

Predeceased by his father Larry, mother Molly and infant son John. Danny will be very sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, sons Daniel (Kyla), Patrick, James (Stephanie), Stanley, Stephen (Amy), Joseph (Megan) and daughter Maria (Niall). The death occurred unexpectedly at Mullingar General Hospital on Friday, November 14, 2025 of Tom O'Brien, Cloonslanor, Strokestown, Roscommon and formerly of Ballinagare, Co Roscommon and Collooney, Co Sligo. Retired Garda Síochána. 

Beloved husband of the late Phil. The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by his family and in the tender care of the staff of Shannon Lodge Nursing Home, Rooskey on Thursday, November 13, 2025 of Roger (Roddy) Forrester, Corgarve, Elphin, Co. Roscommon.

Predeceased by his father Thomas and mother Mary Teresa, brothers Michael, Tommy, Brother Brian and sisters Úna and Maureen. The death occurred peacefully in the loving care of the nurses and staff of Laurel Lodge Nursing Home on Monday, November 10, 2025 of Ita Donlon (Nee Davis), Viewmount, Dublin Road, Longford. 

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Lal and by her cherished daughter Ursula. Ita will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, daughter Orla, sons Laurence and Niall, sister Cait (Ohio, U.S.A.), daughter-in-law Joan, Larry’s partner Manja, Orla’s partner Paul, grandchildren Caoimhe, Eva and Grace, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  Predeceased by his sisters Anne Wall (Ballymaley, Ennis), Bridget Hussey (Canada) infant sisters Elizabeth, Agnes and Margaret and his brothers Joe, Jim and Tom (Lissoy). Will be missed and remembered by his sister Teresa Aylott (London), his nieces and nephews, extended family and friends in Ireland, England, Canada and the USA.
