The Late Peter (Pader) McGarry, 1 Cartron Road, Kenagh, Longford
Sadly we record the death of a very popular local man Peter (Pader) McGarry of Cartron Road, Kenagh which occurred at his residence after a long illness on Tuesday, February 18.
Pader, as he was better known to all who knew him, was a very highly skilled painter and decorator. He was very well known and respected right across the county where he plied his trade for almost fifty years.
Pader, who was in his early seventies, was a hard dedicated worker until he was struck down by a terminal illness.

He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Bridget and his beloved niece Sharon.
A great family man and a very popular neighbour especially on the Cartron Road estate.
He was of a quiet disposition, well spoken and good humoured which was very evident while on painting jobs in local houses. A dedicated father to his three girls and a loyal husband to his wife Sheila. No doubt he will be sadly missed by so many who valued his decorating skills.
