The death occurred peacefully in the care of the staff of Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 of Harry (Henry) McGann, Ballyleague, Co Roscommon and formerly of Ballymahon, Co Longford.
Predeceased by his sons Billy and John, sister Maura and brothers Padraig, Liam and Michael. Harry will be sadly missed by his loving wife Patricia, his sons Martin, Tom and Mark, brother Frank, daughter-in-law Kay, grandchildren Billy, Anita, Karla, Ian and John and his great-grandchildren Erin Grace and Rose. He is mourned by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, a wide circle of friends, neighbours and former ESB colleagues. Noli temere.
Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Thursday evening, February 20 from 5pm until 6.30pm followed by Removal to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Ballyleague (N39 NC89). Mass of the Resurrection on Friday, February 21 at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Cloontuskert Cemetery. The death occurred peacefully in his home in the wonderful care of his heartbroken family on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 of Peter (Pader) McGarry, 1 Cartron Road, Kenagh, Longford.
Predeceased by his parents Peter and Bridget and his beloved niece Sharon. Pader will be sadly missed and always remembered with love by his family, his wife and best friend Sheila, his adored daughters Martina, Linda and Samantha, son-in-law Liam, daughter-in-law Sinéad, his two special grandchildren Daisy and Erin, brothers Mick and Seamus, sisters Mary, Bridgie Coughlan, brother-in-law Martin, sisters-in-law Mary and Christina, nephews, nieces, relatives, dear neighbours and life long friends.
