Patricia Malone (née Fox), Old Dawson Demesne, Ardee, Co Louth / Ballymahon, Co Longford

The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and in the wonderful care of the staff of Suimhneas House, Moorehall Lodge, Ardee, Co Louth on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 of Patricia Malone (née Fox), Old Dawsons Demesne, Ardee, Co Louth and formerly of Dernagoliagh, Ballymahon, Co Longford.

Patricia is predeceased by her husband Johnny, her parents John & Margaret and her brothers Tommy & Anthony, she will be deeply missed by her daughters Fiona and Mairead; son Brendan; son-in-law Jim, daughter-in-law Martina; her adored grandchildren Áine, Deirdre, Brian, Shane and Kate; sister St Margaret Mary DMJ; brothers Barney, Paddy and Sean; sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. May Patricia Rest in Peace.

Patricia will repose at her daughter Mairead’s home in Old Dawson’s Demesne, Ardee, Co Louth (Eircode A92 H7D4) on Thursday, November 21 from 3pm to 8pm, concluding with prayers at 8pm. House Private on Friday morning, November 22 please. Removal on Friday morning, November 22  leaving Mairead's home at 9:30am on foot to the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady, Ardee, Co Louth arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am. Mass can be viewed HERE. Burial afterwards in Old St Mary’s Cemetery, Ardee, Co Louth.

Anne Creamer (née Brady), Robinstown, Granard, Co Longford

The death occurred peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, November 18, 2024 of Anne Creamer (nee Brady), Robinstown, Granard, Co Longford N39C1Y6.

Predeceased by her parents Bernard and Ellen and sister Kathleen. Anne will be sadly missed and remembered by her loving husband Joe, sons Fintan and Patrick, daughter Joanne, daughters- in-law Danielle and Nicola, granddaughters Sophia, Everli and Indie, Sister Maureen, brothers Jimmy (Rosaleen) and Barney(Deirdre), nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. May She Rest In Peace.

Anne will Repose at her home (Eircode N39C1Y6) on Tuesday, November 19 from 2pm until 7pm. Removal to St Bernard’s Church, Abbeylara on Wednesday, November 20 arriving at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday, November 21 at 11am followed by Christian burial in Granardkill Cemetery. House strictly private outside of reposing times.

Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Longford Palliative Care.

Margaret T McAuliffe (née Spillane), Aughnacliffe, Co Longford

The death occurred peacefully at home with family and friends by her side, in San Francisco, CA on Friday, November 8, 2024 of Margaret T. McAuliffe (nee Spillane), 86 years old.

Devoted wife of Dan (Kiskeam, Co Cork, Ireland); loving mother of James (Florida); caring mother-in-law to Kristin (Florida); and admired Aunt to the Spillane (Ireland), McAuliffe (Ireland), O’Regan, Sheridan, Baglin, Cronin, and Moriarty families (San Francisco). Margaret was preceded in passing by her brothers: Edward, Jimmy, and Jerry. Originally from Polladoey, Aughnacliffe, Co. Longford, Ireland, an avid adventurer, Margaret emigrated to the United States in 1959. A truly dynamic force in the National and Local Irish communities, she was an especially proud member of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, where she earned National recognition for her charitable work for many organizations including the Irish Immigration Pastoral Center, the United Irish Cultural Center (founding member), Good Shepherd Gracenter, Rebel Cork Ladies Association, United Irish Societies of San Francisco, the Archdiocese Council of Catholic Women, and Archbishop Riordan High School. Margaret was also an influential member of Saint Philip’s Church in Noe Valley for over 40 years. Her legacy will continue to be felt for generations to come as “that’s the way Margaret would do it.” In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that you make a donation to the Irish Immigration Pastoral Center, United Irish Cultural Center, the Good Shepherd Gracenter, or your charity of choice.

Friends may visit on Friday, November 22, 2024 at Duggan’s Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave, Daly City, from 4-6pm with a Rosary Vigil at 5pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November, 23, 2024 at 1:30pm at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 725 Diamond St, San Francisco, 94114.

James Brendan Kiernan, Aughakieran, Colmcille, Longford

The death occurred, after a short illness, bravely borne, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, October 31, 2024 of James Brendan Kiernan, formerly of Aughakieran, Colmcille, Co. Longford and Benfleet, Essex. Brendan will be dearly missed by his wife Martha, his daughters Fiona, Eileen and Dionne, sons-in-law Francis, Ed and Pete, grandchildren Anna, Leila, James, Camille and Oliver, nieces and nephews, relations and his many friends. Pre-deceased by his parents Francis and Mary Ellen. Brendan was the last surviving member of seven siblings. May Brendan rest in peace.

The Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, November 22 in Holy Family Church, Benfleet, Essex, England.
