The death occurred suddenly on Sunday, November 10, 2024 of Eamon Lanigan, Currawn, Tarmonbarry, Co Roscommon. Predeceased by his father Jim, mother Marcella, Paddy Ginger Flynn, nephews Enda, Kevin. Deeply regretted by his heartbroken wife Mary, his devoted daughters Laura and Rachel, sons James (Lorena, James' partner) and Sean, sisters Phyllis, Mary, Kathleen, Marcella and Breege, brothers Richard, Tommy and Seamus, sisters-in-law Elizabeth, Nooreen and Mary RIP, brothers-in-law, Mick, Shay RIP, Michael, Sean and Patrick, cousins John F and Eileen, nieces, nephews, cousins, the extended Lanigan and Casserly families, relatives, neighbours and many good friends. Remains will be reposing at his residence on Wednesday evening, November 13 and Thursday evening, November 14 from 5pm to 8.30pm with a 15 minute break at 6.30pm on both evenings. A minibus service will be in place from Whitehall Church and St Barry’s GAA Centre on both evenings. (No parking facilities at house). Removal to the Sacred Heart Church Whitehall on Friday, November 15 arriving for 12 noon Mass. Burial afterwards in Kilbarry Cemetery. House private on Friday morning, November 15 please. Predeceased by his parents Jimmy and Mary. Tommy will be sadly missed by his loving family, partner Jillian, his children Gerard, Claire and Louise and their mother Eilish, brother Seamus (Bernie), sisters Patsy (Noel), Kitty (Eamon) and Bridget, Jillian's parents Pat and Mollie Mulligan and family, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
