The death occurred, tragically, following an accident, on Thursday, March 16, 2024 of George Belton, Ardagh and 18 College Park, Longford Town, Longford. Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Anne, his sister Brigid (Keogh), granddaughter Alison and nephew Derek. Predeceased by her husband Michael, her parents Bridie and Eugene and her brother Patsy. The death occurred peacefully in Harrogate, United Kingdom where he had served as parish priest and hospital chaplain, on Sunday, April 28, 2024 of Fr James Leavy formerly of Lanesboro Co Longford. Predeceased by his parents JP and Brigid, and sister Anne Matthews. Fr James will be greatly missed and remembered with love by his brothers Larry, Pat and Eddie, sisters Mary McGowan (New Jersey) and Breda O'Loughlin (Kilkenny), brother in law, sister in law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces, by the Bishop and priests of the Diocese of Leeds, his many devoted parishioners, and wide circle of friends. The death occurred peacefully, in her 102nd year, in the loving care of the staff at Innis Ree Lodge Nursing Home, Ballyleague, Lanesborough on Sunday, May 19, 2024 of Sr Margaret Killian McAuley House, Roscommon town and formerly of Clooneen, Athleague, Co Roscommon. Predeceased by her siblings; Mary, Michael and Eilish.

Margaret will be sadly missed by her loving sister Ella Gannon, nieces Margaret, Mary and Fionnuala, nephews John and John, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins and her many relatives, friends, neighbours and by her Community, Sisters of Mercy, McAuley House and the Western Province.
