The death occurred peacefully on Sunday, April 28, 2024 of Paddy Davis, Cornafunchin, Ballinalee, Co Longford. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Annie, brothers Peter and Oliver. The death occurred peacefully at home on Sunday, April 28, 2024 of Nancy, Derrindiff, Newtowncashel, Co Longford and late of London and Cornaguillagh, Newtowncashel. Predeceased by her loving husband Stan, parents John and Margaret, brothers Johnny and Tom and by her sister Eileen. Nancy will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, sisters Brigid Cusack (Dublin), Kitty Kingston (London) and Monica Farrell (Elfeet), sister-in-law Mary, brother-in-law Jack, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. The death occurred unexpectedly but peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 of Sean Hanley, Lisnaria, Roscommon. He will be forever missed by his adored beloved wife Betty, daughter Sharon (McDermott), sons James and John, son-in-law Martin, daughters-in-law Denise and Anja, grandchildren Dylan, Amelia, Freya, Aoibheann, Conor, Oscar, Michaela and JP, sisters Bridie, Marion and Carmel, aunt Lucy, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Sean is predeceased by his parents Paddy and Bridie, his sisters Kathleen and Elizabeth and by his brothers-in-law Michael, Sean and Martin. May Sean rest in peace.
Reposing at his home in Lisnaria (F42 HV22) on Thursday evening, May 2 from 4pm until 7pm – House private outside of these times please. Removal on Friday morning, May 3 at 10.30am arriving to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Ballyleague for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am. Burial afterwards in Cloontuskert Cemetery. The death occurred peacefully in St Vincent’s Hospital on Saturday, April 27, 2024 of Maureen Brady (née Leonard) Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin, late of Annaduff, Co Leitrim. Maureen, beloved wife of the late Daniel (Danny) loving mother of Noleen, Brenda, Danella, Patricia, Emer and Eamonn. Sadly by her children, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, her 10 adored grandchildren, brother, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family and many friends.

The death occurred with her husband by her side on Sunday, April 21, 2024 of Geraldine Kyle McWeeney, age 76, of Derry, Ireland/ Ballinamore, Co Leitrim. Her rebellious, loving, generous, and ridiculously funny nature will be missed by many. Geraldine is survived by Tony, her husband of 55 years, her eldest son, Gerry, and daughter Maureen (Steve). She also leaves behind her most beloved grandchildren: Claire, Grace, Dillon, Conor, Emily, Sarah, and Abby. In addition, she is survived by her siblings, Terence (Shirley), Brian (Sally) and Kathleen (Mike), and many cherished nieces and nephews including Kerry, Robert, Colm, Megan, Sean, Sarah, Stephen, Brian, Suzanne and Fiona. Geraldine had the good fortune of having life long friends who loved her dearly and whom she adored and cherished. The McWeeney Family wishes to thank the many family and friends who called and visited her, and expressed their love to her before her passing. She is now reunited with her son, Anthony, parents Gerry and Celine Kyle, and sister Ann of Derry City.
She will be buried in her home country of Ireland with her son, Anthony. Geraldine opened the Seal Beach Drive-In Dairy with her husband before embarking on a successful career as a realtor and property manager. Geraldine and Tony raised their family in Costa Mesa, and upon retirement moved to Mexico followed by adventures in Northern California where they spent time with grandkids while reconnecting with a vibrant Irish community in Petaluma. However, Seal Beach drew them back, and their time here was an opportunity to reconnect with lifelong friends, and loving family including many cousins who brought joy and laughter to their lives.
A Celebration of Life will be held in late summer at St. Anne's Church in Seal Beach, California where she and her husband exchanged vows 55 years ago.
