The death occurred, suddenly at home, on Thursday, October 5, 2023 of Aidan McNally, Shannon Lodge, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Leitrim / formerly Lisbrack, Longford. Predeceased by his wife Breda, brother Rene, sister Irene. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving sons Conor (Dublin), Shane (Carrick-on-Shannon), daughters Paula (Scotland), Brenda (Carrick-on-Shannon), Joanne (Dublin), grandchildren Aisling, Niamh, Sinead, Zoe and Billy, great grandchildren Rian, Caoimhe, Oisin, Cillian and Aodhla, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, sister Patsy (Limerick), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and good friends. Aidan will repose at his residence on Sunday, October 8 from 2pm until 5pm, followed by removal to St Mary’s Church, Carrick-on-Shannon arriving at 7pm. Matt Farrelly, Nutley Square, Donnybrook, Dublin / Cooleeny, Longford

The death occurred, in St Vincent’s University Hospital, surrounded by his family after a short illness, on Friday, October 6, 2023 of Matt Farrelly, Nutley Square, Donnybrook, Dublin / Cooleeny, Longford. Predeceased by his parents John and Patricia and by his brother Seán, Matt will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his siblings, Mary, Ursula, Pat, Fintan, Catherine, Michael, brother-in-law Seán, sisters-in-law Ann and Riikka, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.
Reposing at J.P. Ward & Sons, Funeral Directors, Sandyford Village, (D18 C8P7) on Monday evening, October 9 from 5pm to 7pm, followed by removal to The Church of Ss. Columbanus and Gall, Milltown, Dublin 6, arriving for prayer service at 7.30pm. Mass of the Resurrection at 11am on Tuesday, October 10 in St Mel’s Cathedral, Longford, (N39 A326), followed by burial in Ballymacormack Cemetery. Pat Leonard, Donaghmede, Dublin / Longford

The death occurred, suddenly surrounded by his loving family at Beaumont Hospital, on Thursday, October 5, 2023 of Pat Leonard, Donaghmede, Dublin and formerly of Longford. Beloved husband of Kathleen and loving father to Eoin and Mark. Sadly missed by his loving family, daughter-in-law Emma, sisters Margaret, Ann, and Philo, sister-in-law Margaret, brothers-in-law Frank, Kevin and Willie, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. Reposing in his residence on Tuesday, October 10 from 6pm to 8pm. Removal to Holy Trinity Church, Donaghmede, for Funeral Mass on Wednesday, October 11 at 10am, followed by burial in Balgriffin Cemetery Extension. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Ashlin Centre, Sheehan Unit. A donation box will be available in the church at the Funeral Mass.

Beloved father of Stephen and the late Christine and Joey and loving son of the late Angela and Ernest.
