Longford's trainee Gardaí return to Templemore

Trainee Gardaí Daniel Rogers, John Fogarty, Caitlyn O'Reilly, and Connor Casey recently completed their work placements in Longford Garda Station.
This day last week, 206 newly attested members left Templemore Garda College.

As one of those newly qualified Gardaí prepares to join Longford Garda Station, four trainees were leaving it for Tipperary.
With their Stage 2 placements in Longford now complete, it was back to college for the four Garda trainees as they returned to Templemore for the next stage of their training.
The trainees who carried out their placements in Longford were Westmeath’s John Fogarty whose his parents, Jerry Fogarty and Joanne Gilchrist are from Edgeworthstown, Cavan county footballer Conor Casey, Roosky man Daniel Rogers whose mum Anette is a GP in Longford, and dad Joe, an undertaker in Roscommon, and Cavan woman Caitlyn O’Reilly who knew she wanted to become a Garda at just 15 years of age when she carried out her Transition Year work experience in Granard Garda Station.
The 210 trainees returning to Templemore following their placements were also this week joined in the college by a new intake of 201 Garda students.
